Dear World Cup Guests,
Thank you for sharing your experiences with us online, we are so happy you're here, getting to see all the different parts of America and meeting new friends.
I would however on behalf of all of us normal, kind, hard working and helpful Americans, like to apologize for the few who insist on trying to rain on your joy in the comments and replies. We know they're annoying and ridiculous, just ignore them. They're miserable fun suckers and usually beyond help.
The vast majority of us are having a blast traveling around the country with you! If we can help in anyway please don't hesitate to ask!
Keep eating, drinking, singing and chanting!
Love,
All 50 of the United States 🇺🇸
@Selene_Mariposa We Americans are so blessed and live in such luxury that we take it for granted. Thank God daily for the blessings we enjoy! God bless America! May we always remain the land of the free & the home of the brave!
You will not see a better sports video today:
Kolby Branch hits a HR for Georgia in his last ever college AB. His brother, on the other team, gets to celebrate with him as he rounds the bases with parents in attendance
What a moment for this family
Daniel Espino on his family watching his MLB debut:
“I’m just glad they’re able to see this version of my life. For the last couple years everything has been bad news. But now we’re seeing the good side of it.”
He also had Patrick Bailey sign his first strikeout ball to show his appreciation for the work catchers do.
Love this guy.
When we got married, we said "We'll wait until we graduate to have children."
But, in reality, both of us knew we wanted kids.
We weren't expecting it to come so soon (we've only been married for 4 months), but it couldn't be a more perfect time.
Are we scared? Yes, absolutely. Are we ready? Maybe. But do we have faith in each other, ourselves, and our Heavenly Father? The most we've ever had.
This child may not come into the world with parents who have everything figured out, but he/she will have a mom and a dad who love him/her more than anything.
If you want to leave some pregnancy/parenting advice in the comments, we would both appreciate it. And your prayers for this baby's health would mean even more.
We are SO EXCITED to begin this great adventure and fulfill the purpose of life!
"The most powerful way to change the world is to raise good kids." - Dennis Prager
Two shoulder surgeries. Sidelined for 1,241 days . Daniel Espino overcame everything and just recorded his first career strikeout with his mom in the stands❤️

There's a lot of weird anti-American propaganda I got fed growing up in Canada
Then you come to the USA and you're like - what the hell, this place is awesome
🚨HOLY CRAP!!!
ICE just caught a COMMANDER of two foreign terrorist organizations living in SMALL-TOWN North Carolina...
...and he was HOLDING HIS OWN WIFE HOSTAGE!!!
His name is Felipe Dell Aquilla, a commander of the PCC and Comando Vermelho, the two largest criminal empires in Brazil, both designated FOREIGN TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS.
When federal agents moved in, he ran, leading them on a high-speed chase that ended when he CRASHED into stopped traffic.
THERE ARE LITERAL TERRORIST COMMANDERS HIDING OUT IN SMALL TOWNS IN THE SOUTH!!!!!!!!
WHY ISN'T THIS THE #1 STORY IN AMERICA RIGHT NOW?!!!!!!!!
Too many people take the United States for granted.
Just look how excited Europeans and Japanese people are with visiting America.
You are privileged to be born in the greatest country on the planet.
Start acting like it.
Blue bags up.
Japan 2, Netherlands 2 — an absolute thriller in Arlington. And then the real show started.
The Japanese end pulls out thousands of bright blue bags. First they wave them like flags, bouncing and chanting until the whole section is one giant wall of blue. Then — same bags, new mission. They fan out across the stands and scoop up every bottle, wrapper and cup till the seats look brand new.
And who's right in the middle of it, grinning with a bag in his hand? Jameis Winston. Giants QB. Heisman winner. Out there cleaning up with the Samurai Blue like it's the best gig of his summer.
No chore. No lecture. Just a party that cleans up after itself.
Best fans on the planet. 🇯🇵💙
We joke about winning the life lottery, because we were born in the USA, but it’s not far from the truth.
These visitors here for the World Cup are getting to experience what we often take for granted.
I live in Alabama. I can start in Mobile and drive north for 5 hours, and still be in Alabama.
My state has beautiful sandy beaches, and also has the foothills of the Appalachians. In between, we have a super speedway that pushes the limits of American muscle. Talladega.
NASA is here. The Army’s rotary wing flight school is here.
We have a festival every year to celebrate peanuts. We celebrate the harvest of a crop with funnel cakes and music.
2 teams from my state are currently in the College World Series, and that isn’t even our most popular sport.
Don’t even get me started on football Saturdays in the fall. It’s something else entirely.
My state is just 1 of 50 states that are all equally wonderful.
This country is awesome, and I do love it so. 🇺🇸
🤩 That was of the best experiences of my life. Scotland in a World Cup. In America. WOW. What an atmosphere. Thank you to all of you for making us feel so welcome, supporting Scotland, and for all the kind comments. I appreciate you all!!
Side note: the Boston Stadium - home
of the Patriots - is one of the best stadiums I’ve ever been to anywhere. The parking situation is dreadful but the stadium itself is absolutely flawless.
🇺🇸 Happy Flag Day
Find someone who loves you like Rick Monday loves his flag.
On April 25, 1976, while playing outfield for the Chicago Cubs as a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve veteran, Rick Monday saw two protesters soak the American flag in lighter fluid, ready to burn it.
He didn’t hesitate. He sprinted in, grabbed the flag, and carried it to safety.
One of the most American moments in baseball history.
Thank you, Rick Monday, for honoring our flag. 🫡🇺🇸
I love seeing what people from other countries put on their USA bucket lists because it is not the stuff we think it will be.
They’re not saying “Grand Canyon” or “New York City.”
They’re saying Buc-ee’s, a Big Gulp, Texas BBQ, baseball, a rodeo, a drive thru, Chipotle, a gun range, and watching something completely ridiculous happen in a Walmart parking lot.
And the funny part is they’re not wrong.
America is so normal to us that we forget how bizarre and entertaining it probably looks from the outside.
If somebody came here and asked you for the real American experience, what are you making them do first?
A SpaceX welder earning $28 an hour just became a millionaire.
Juan Hernandez came from Mexico and worked as a welder at SpaceX, helping build the rockets that changed the space industry.
When he went full-time in 2015, SpaceX gave him $10,000 in stock.
Most people would have sold. He didn’t. He bought more and more with every paycheck for 10 years. He knew it would pay off.
Now, with SpaceX stock trading around $167, his shares are worth over $1 million.
A man who helped build the rockets also got to own a piece of the company sending them into space.
That is what real wealth creation looks like
So here’s the difference:
1) AOC does not have a Master’s degree in Economics, she has a Bachelor’s degree.
2) Mullin holds an associate degree in applied science for plumbing, took over his family’s business and built it into a successful company before entering politics.
The difference is that one person built something with their life using a useful degree to deliver services to someone that needed them.
The other person took money from taxpayers and delivered zero benefit to anyone but herself and now has a professional rain umbrella holder, all paid for by the tax dollars from the plumbers Mullin’s employed.
Hope that helps.
Waiting to board our flight in Washington and there are 3 Scotland fans in kilts walking past. An American lady says" I love your skirts"
"They're nae skirts lassie they're kilts , We're Scots not Trannies" I genuinely Lol #tartanarmy#fifaworldcup@jk_rowling
...are you completely retarded?!
Pray tell, what EXACTLY do you think happens when you force a 3% ANNUAL wealth tax?
It's not sitting in a fucking bank account you imbecile, it's EQUITY IN A COMPANY.
To pay 3% in real money he has to dump tens of billions in shares EVERY YEAAR, which drops the price of the stock for EVERYONE.
Tesla sits in the S&P 500. Which means it sits in your index fund. Your 401(k). The teacher's pension. The firefighter's retirement. The savings of every working person who never made a dime off Elon Musk and never asked to.
And it's worse, because the tax eats itself EVERY YEAR!!!
Every share he dumps to pay that tax, he owes capital gains tax on. So he sells more to cover that. Then more next year, off a base you just shrank.
You don't collect a clean $33 billion. You collect less and less while doing more and MORE damage on the way down.
Wealth taxes are the single stupidest idea ever.
