@makipilled@KronosAsvestos Klockwerk said everything I was going to say already, which is why I stick with TEC so far despite being sympathetic to the ACNA's ideas.
@saturnine_grace@atranquilnight Do you think that the same impulse that caused Islam to ravage the Middle East and parts of Europe is not the primary motivation behind "Islamism", no matter when the name was coined?
Weโre going to have to kill hordes of these filthy, uncivilized animals all throughout The West if we wish to return to our former glory. Our world has no meaning to them. They have no sense of beauty or respect. The most benevolent thing we can do for the world is shove a sword through their entrails, cut the funding to their third world shitholes and either colonize them for resources or stay far the fuck away, and return the West to being a beacon of morality through submission to Christ.
The problem with all of these people is that they simply refuse to acknowledge that inequality is real, and say anyone who does is simply evil. Forget all ideology for a moment and what it tells you about inequality and where it comes from.
These sources of inequality are common to every people. They can never be altered by any, because they are found in human nature itself. In fact, inequality itself is the source of a natural aristocracy among mankind and it is a fact essential to be considered in the institution of a government.
This natural aristocracy forms a body of men which contains the greatest collection of virtues and abilities in a free government, is the brightest ornament and glory of the nation, and may always be made the greatest blessing of society, so long as it is managed in a constitution.
This denial of the existence of a natural aristocracy is the first major problem within our post war political order. It exists, it exists because of inequality which is natural to man, and it is in fact a good thing.
The second of course is immigration. The admission of foreigners indiscriminately to the rights of citizens, the moment they put foot in our country, has been nothing less than admitting a Trojan horse into the citadel of our liberty and sovereignty.
These are the two things we need to be able to fix things, to understand inequalities in man, embrace them in our government and our constitution, and end the Trojan horse of immigration. Everything said about Postliberalism is just a smoke screen and a scare word for those who are against this.
Much of the time when an EO or RC says โProtestants believe Xโ itโs either something unique to evangelicalism or something thatโs debated amongst evangelicals. Like no, OSAS and dispensationalism are not defining beliefs of Protestantism (or even Evangelicalism for that matter).
A question for the anti-death penalty side:
In 1993, Christopher Simmons from Missouri kidnapped a random woman from her house. He wanted to murder purely for the fun of it, and had misinterpreted the law, leading him to believe he could not receive the death penalty. Because of this mistaken belief, he admitted to the crime fairly quickly, and happily re-enacted it for police.
He bound the woman, who was torn from her home without any warning or reason, and had no idea what was happening to her, and dropped her into a river so he could watch her drown. It turned out the law did in fact allow him to be sentenced to death.
Question: Should the Supreme Court of the United States have intervened and overridden centuries of legal precedent to declare that he could not be executed?
Spoiler alert: They did. On the same logic, they also eliminated life sentences for juvenile killers. He's free now. He's out there walking around, living life happily. Shirley Crook is still dead, though, for no reason at all.
@atranquilnight We have devolved from "my RCs and Orthos are so based and trad, not like those stupid Prots" to "Conservatives are hateful xenophobes", I think we're done here.
