🔴 Le NASA dévoile son Boeing 777 sous une nouvelle livrée !

Hier, le Boeing 777-200ER de la NASA (immatriculé N577NA) a été photographié quittant Amarillo avec sa toute nouvelle livrée.

Cet avion, ancien appareil de Japan Airlines, a été transformé en laboratoire volant pour remplacer le mythique DC-8.

Capable d’emporter jusqu’à 100 scientifiques et 34 tonnes d’instruments, il peut voler jusqu’à 18 heures d’affilée pour des missions d’observation de la Terre (climat, météo extrême, etc.).

Premières missions scientifiques prévues dès 2027.

Easy way to tell a regular A321neo from the XLR on the tarmac: that noticeably longer belly fairing under the rear fuselage protects the Rear Center Tank and adds strength for safety. Also, the inner flaps are single-slotted now instead of the double-slotted ones on standard neos. The XLR marking on the tail makes it obvious too.
