@IanProwse@the_levellers @MalvernTheatres Fantastic gig. Great performances from Ian & Nico and then the Levs Collective. What a way to spend a Sunday evening π
147 species (I think - only 132 of them for me) recorded at Grimley in 2024 including some really great birds. Purple Heron, Gannet, R-T Diver, B-N Grebe, Bittern, Goshawk, Knot, Sp. Redshank & (leaving it late) Y-B Warbler amongst the highlights. Here's to 2025 π @WorcsBirding
@MartinRFlack @WorcsBirding A bird long on my wish list on the patch. Great find by @nickskilbeck1 and many thanks to @MartinRFlack for pointing me to the likeliest spot - worked a treat with smashing views in the first sunshine for a while π
Well it was bye for now but having spent a while over on Bluesky it's now bye for good to Musk's toy. Twitter used to be great. X is just an awful place.

@Philmfan100@WaltonBirder @WorcsBirding Too late Phil. I have been away for the weekend and come back to that. Oh how I dream of seeing a Green Sandpiper this year at Grimley.....
@roger_broadbent @WorcsBirding @NorthsideDan@andypitt21 Recorded in every month of the year bar May in most years looking at my personal Grimley records with the expected July/August peak numbers. Still odd this year based on that. There have been records but very few indeed. Normally on my year list in January π€
Pretty good morning at Grimley/Holt. Bittern the star but also 2 GW & 4+ Little Egrets, 4 Common Tern, Redshanks, Common Sand, 2 LRP, Hobby and all the usuals. Unbelievably though I still haven't seen a Green Sand there this year π€ @WorcsBirding
