We feel more regret for things which we didn't do rather than for things that we did,even if what we did didn't have the desired result.
Now decision making is easier for me. I mostly just choose action rather than inaction
Diwali is coming. It can get a little hard for people with anxiety, what with the loud noises, loud people, gatherings, intense socialising.
A few tips which will help through this time -
When nothing works and you're having an episode, try focussing on your 5 senses. Take an object. How does it look? How does it feel? How heavy is it? Does it make any sounds? This way, you're grounded back into your body
Memory bridges. Build a mental bridge to the time after an unpleasant event. Think about how it would feel to take off your make up, wash your face, change into your PJs and sink into bed with a nice True Crime documentary. It helps see that a difficult situation isn't endless.
