THE FRACTURE

Certain Field Operatives began assisting escaped subjects rather than capturing them.

As the conflict intensified, underground supply chains surfaced throughout Renasci and the Outer Ring.
Illegal arms dealers, data brokers, and covert logistics cells began supporting rogue Operatives.
During this period, a second unauthorized currency entered circulation:
$PLUTO COIN
Untraceable.
Decentralized.
Accepted everywhere.
Rumors persist that its distribution is coordinated by an unidentified off-world intelligence broker.
No verification exists.
None has been disproven.

THE HARMONY PROGRAM
Officially, Renova provides universal healthcare across all citizen zones.
However, surveillance reports confirm widespread distribution of a pharmaceutical classified:

THE BIRTH OF A NATION
The Commonwealth of Renova was not born from conquest.
It was born from survival.
In the aftermath of the Global War, when governments fractured and borders collapsed, a coalition of industrial magnates, technologists, and financial sovereigns united their remaining resources to construct a new state far west of St. Juniper.
Their purpose was singular:
Restore humanity.
Rebuild civilization.
Control the future.
Thus, Renova was established — a nation governed not by ideology, but by capability.

THE CITY OF REBIRTH — RENASCI
At the center of Renova stands its greatest monument:
Renasci.
A fortified megacity designed as both sanctuary and laboratory for the next age of human advancement. Its name derives from the Latin renasci — to be born again.
Renasci was conceived as a perfect system:
Total infrastructural automation
Controlled economic ecosystem
Closed-loop technological development
Elite population residency
To sustain this system, the founders introduced a sovereign digital currency:
ZENITH ($ZEN)
Originally restricted to internal real estate transactions, Zenith rapidly became the dominant economic standard of the Commonwealth.
When public access was announced, global demand detonated.
Within seventy-two hours of Renasci’s opening:
All housing was sold.
Millions were left outside the walls.

THE OUTER RING
The displaced did not leave.
They built.
Improvised settlements, scrap-cities, and dense refugee zones formed around the perimeter of Renasci. These territories — now collectively designated The Outer Ring — house millions still waiting for entry clearance.
To maintain stability, the Renova government extended:
Law enforcement jurisdiction
Medical access programs
Infrastructure patrol oversight
Official policy states:
“All citizens of Renova fall under the protection of Renasci.”
Unofficial reports suggest otherwise.

THE MILITARY GLASS CEILING
Years into stabilization, Renova’s Defense Directorate reached an operational limit.
Their automated military forces already included:
Autonomous drone swarms
Mass-produced combat robotics
Predictive battlefield AI systems
Machines could not win the next war.
Only better humans could.

MITER CORPORATION
Renova’s solution arrived in the form of a classified biotechnology contractor:
Miter Corporation
A private research entity specializing in experimental human enhancement.
Following closed negotiations, Miter was granted:
A sealed research complex inside Renasci
Unlimited experimental funding authorization
Sovereign legal protection status
Within two years, disaster struck.

THE G-SERIES BREACH
A containment collapse at the St. Juniper experimental facilities resulted in the escape of:
304 enhanced human test subjects
Designated:
G-Series Experiments
These subjects possessed:
Augmented physical capabilities
Combat adaptation responses
Unknown neurological alterations
Renova authorized immediate recovery.

FIELD OPERATIVES
To retrieve the escapees, Miter deployed its trained enforcement division:

A central transfer command was established in Renasci for experiment intake and containment processing.
But early projections underestimated the threat.
The Operatives were outnumbered.
Three to one.

THE ZENITH BOUNTIES
To accelerate recovery operations, the government issued an open bounty system:
Capture and return a G-Series subject.
Receive Zenith.
The announcement spread instantly through the Outer Ring.
Civilian capture crews formed overnight.
For many, one successful capture meant enough $ZEN to buy entry into Renasci itself.
Hope became weaponized.
