HGCa in Ov in 1970: Papillary serous Ca. In 2022:serous Ca. Change? Papillary was dropped to include any histology. The goal: Uniform diag. Ca in kidney in 1970:renal cell Ca. In 2022: 19 different types of Ca. Uniformity in diag will never help find new treats.@IGCSociety
Another immuno problem solved by H&E. Papillary endometrial Ca diagnosed as serous Ca bc of diffuse p53. Very focal Napsin. Papillae with hyaline core, lined by only one cell layer with separation of the cells cannot be serous. Diag: clear cell Ca + for p53.@IGCS
Our study with Thyroseq v3 GC in AUS category and subcategories demonstrates that the MDROM can be used as an estimate of the ROM and the ROM varies according to the subtype of atypia. #cytopathology#thyroid@darcykerrMD@CarmenGomezMD@Y_Tjendra 🔥
