Couldn’t you say the same thing about career choice, person you marry, where you live, other lifestyle choices? Those have emotional impact on family as well. Why put on extra weight on the religious choice? I’m sure if a became a homeless hippy bum it would cause my parents grief.

@Seeking72 King Benjamin and Abinadi teach about Faith unto Repentance. That there is more to faith than just believing. You need to believe in Christ and repent of sins. Great reads.
