Very true. And there are all kinds of support needed, from navigating university grants offices (for those lucky enough to have them) to carving out the time to write something that may not get funded to writing the grant itself
@PatrickCFleming True, bc all communication is hard and we call all learn! But— following our points about the difficulty of understand how institutions *actually* work— grant writing is also about understanding another level of “hidden curriculum” and *that’s* a different game sometimes?
