@piersmorgan Stop calling one of the most popular sports show in the UK “Soccer Saturday” and we will think about it. And take back the third goal in the 1966 World Cup Championship game that did not cross the goal line and rescind the ill gotten victory. Very unsportsmanlike to count that.
@BartWinklerShow What is stopping you from rolling out your own model? Parents will gladly sign up for a cheaper solution that provides the same benefits as the current youth soccer model. I’ll give you an idea. Start an academy that develops and sells players like the rest of the world.
@AlexiLalas Somebody is paying in every country in the world. The club, parents, etc. The time it takes to develop a player is not free in any country. The club structure around the world is brutal. Most kids are cut they don’t have time to develop every kid that wants to play. Money talks.
@AlexiLalas A club could take a chance and try to develop and sell, but that is a long term payback that is not guaranteed. Pay to play is here to stay. To crack the top 10 on a regular basis something unthought of before will have to be tried. What that is? Idk
@usmntonly How can a coach at this level not understand the reason the passing was off? Belgium cut the time and space off at the right moments. It is what top 10 teams do so well against inferior technical teams. The US is still a top 20 team, but there are levels.
@mlycan12 Too much common sense in this post. This is no place for sensible, mature, educated takes. Try again and begin with “youth development is the problem”. Only then will you be credible. lol
@TEDchris The window is extremely small with players and a goalkeeper in front of the shot taker. Most shots require height and at full speed it becomes the most difficult thing to do in soccer. People can’t appreciate the speed at which this develops. Like shooting a quarter with a BB.
@AlexiLalas Out of necessity we call it soccer to avoid confusion. Why is that so hard to understand. Other countries that have another form of football call it soccer too. Ala, Australia and Canada.
@arlowhite The U.S. is hot, especially for Europeans. A hydration break while not essential is humane. A rule imposed like this has to be fair. The only way to make it fair is to apply it to every game, regardless of temperature. It is all or none. Don't blame the U.S. for a FIFA decision.
@OffyUnfiltered Trey was waving to his family in the only handicapped section behind the visiting dugout, where a family member was seated in a motorized scooter. It seems his intentions may have been misinterpreted.

@thehammyshow I’m not sure whether anyone has clarified this, but Trey was waving to his family, who were seated in the only handicapped-accessible section behind the visiting dugout. A family member was sitting there in a motorized scooter.
