@THEHOOD08045370 @MikeDuester @BetoORourke Because the legal definition of personhood is at birth, and bodily autonomy applies more to a dead person than to a pregnant person in your view… A dead person can’t be organ harvested to save other lives, but you want to force a pregnant person to give up their body.

@THEHOOD08045370 @MikeDuester @BetoORourke That is only the case in a few states, and that law is questionable when you consider that it grants personhood in only that extreme case. Either the fetus is a person all the time or not until birth. If all the time, then citizenship, taxes, child support, Medicaid all impacted.

@THEHOOD08045370 @MikeDuester @BetoORourke Let’s stick with proper terminology please… A fetus does not have personhood, and therefore does not qualify for murder. And per the laws around bodily autonomy, no person can be forced to give up their body to give life to another.
