Mulago National Referral Hospital and other public health facilities are struggling because too many positions are empty.

At Mulago, only 1,369 of 2,351 jobs are filled leaving 42% of posts vacant. Some hospitals and health centres operate at only 23–46% of required staff.

This is why we see:
✅Crowded waiting areas
✅Delays in treatment
✅Overworked health workers

It’s no excuse to disregard the attitude of some health workers, but the real issue is a systemic shortage. The government must urgently recruit and deploy enough staff to ensure timely, safe care for every patient.

Health workers deserve support. Patients deserve care. Let’s invest in our hospitals now!

@UEDCLTD has become real thieves. Imagine the 15,000= that used to give 22.4 units of power gave me only 16 units on Sunday night at 9pm. My fridge has been off for the last one week, nothing else apart from lighting three builds, a TV and the woofer that runs for less than 3hrs
