IMPORTANT: For any INVESTOR anywhere in the world, if there is 1 country you ought to learn more about and follow closely is TANZANIA.
TANZANIA is showing early pre-take off signs cemented by 3 decades of solid & steady growth, growing population (and HOUSEHOLD INCOMES), political stability and now MASSIVE investment flows.
In this calendar year, TANZANIA has attracted over $7.7 BILLION of investment, up from $5.4 billion in 2023, and around $2 billion in 2022.
This is TANZANIA's BEST investment year since economic liberalization in 1985 (see graph 1 for recent data)
It is NOW East Africa's LARGEST trading economy.
HE @SuluhuSamia has MORE THAN trippled FDI since assuming office in 2021. Such spike was last seen in 1992 Deng Xiaoping's CHINA following his Tour of the South (See ghaph 2). The rest is histrory.
Uniquely, TANZANIA is attracting wide-ranging investments due to economic structure diversity ranging from manufacturing, real estate, logistics, agriculture, mining and tourism. FDI origins ranges from US, EU, UK, China and other African countries.
For 2025, I strongly advise adding assest from the regional powerhouse into your investment portfolio.
My message to young people, indigenous communities, women leaders, all those leading on #ClimateAction:
I know you might be disappointed. But we're in the fight of our lives & this fight must be won.
Never give up.
Never retreat.
Keep pushing forward.
I am with you.

I stand with the world's young people who continue to demand urgent #ClimateAction.
They will not - and should not - stop, until leaders protect our planet - and their future. #COP26
I am grateful to be here at #COP26 as nations gather to build on the momentum of the #ParisAgreement. We must seize this critical moment and work swiftly to meet the urgency of the climate crisis. The future is collectively in our hands!
"The warnings about global warming have been extremely clear for a long time. We are facing a global climate crisis. It is deepening. We are entering a period of consequences." ~ @algore
Closely following #COP26 as one of @algore’s @ClimateReality Leaders & @UN’s SDG 7 Pioneer.
We must keep the goal of 1.5 degrees Celsius warming alive.
This requires greater action on mitigation and immediate concrete steps to reduce global emissions by 45 per cent by 2030.
We need maximum ambition – from all countries on all fronts – to make #COP26 a success.
We can no longer ignore the climate crisis.
It's time to stop making excuses and start making changes!

„We stand at a pivotal point in history.
We either choose to achieve rapid and large-scale reductions of emissions to keep the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5C - or we accept that humanity faces a bleak future on this planet.“

World leaders came to the UN General Assembly with some real steps to fight the climate crisis. It’s a start — but at #COP26 we need to see the type of real action that will put us on a path to a future built on climate justice. https://t.co/LRUQtyzQPl
