Pulling into Arlington Cemetery yesterday was a very sobering experience. To see row after row after row of crosses and stars was a stark reminder of the true sacrifices that were made for this nation.

We cannot forget these brave heroes. We cannot allow their sacrifices to be for naught.

And we cannot forget how fragile our great republic truly is.
