@flightradar24 Well that was a dumb writing mistake. 😂 I meant to say gotta wonder if the engine separation caused the fire or occurred as a result of the fire.
@flightradar24 Radio traffic from Airport Authority Ops is saying that an engine separation occurred. Gotta wonder if the engine separated because of the fire or as a result of the fire. My guess is this was an uncontained engine failure, but hard to say for sure at this point.
@AllBiteNoBark88 are more fire resistant than others and if the trees and landscaping have been pruned to avoid acting as what we call “ladder fuels” (i.e. low branches, shrubs, etc.), the fire may not make it into the foliage.
@AllBiteNoBark88 Fuel moisture fluctuates throughout the day and peaks in the early morning hours just before dawn. It’s possible that in this particular area the structures burned while the moisture content of the trees was peaking for the day. Additionally, some species of trees
@BusinessInsider This article is filled with errors and was clearly written by someone who doesn’t know the first thing about aviation. Are we more interested in journalism or clickbait? I can’t imagine paying for this…
@NEWSGUYSULLY Are you sure it’s just selfish drivers? A lot of travelers are being routed by mapping software, so I think it’s also the failure of project managers to update geospatial data to reflect actual road closures and turn restrictions. That was my experience a few weeks ago.
@SDOTtraffic signal WB 520 to NB Montlake is not properly coordinated with Mont signals. NB Mont freq. stops and backs up just before green phase for traffic from 520, allowing very few vehicles to make turn from a *no turn on red* location. I lost *30min* yesterday morning…
@somuch2wadethru @dadseducer69 @WSPMissingPers1 Or the result of rushing to get info out because a child is in danger…
Most people can easily figure out what was meant and move past a simple typo, but not the grammar police; they will not rest until they get their pound of flesh. 🙄
@brent_kellogg@wspd2pio Here’s previous footage from one of their aircraft. Foot pursuit at end of video. If the bad guy is hiding behind a shed in your yard, this tech helps find him. It took *6-min* to get there from where it was already patrolling in Pierce County….

@KingCountyMetro@SoundTransit Operating these two routes on snow route and/or with tire chains does not represent a competent assessment of actual conditions at this time.
The @KingCountyMetro website says that route 542 and 545 are on snow route (and this is what they’re telling their drivers) while the @SoundTransit website says that they are not on snow route. The road is bare and wet; tire chains and snow routes are entirely unnecessary.
@HeatherTDay According to a recent study (linked at the end of the news release below), dating app users often know *within a second* whether or not to express interest in someone else… So it sounds like he’s just “normal.” What a time to be alive! 🤦🏻♂️

@Commando_Mikie @ty_medic@alexjivani@RedmondWaPD I can help here. You are referencing two DIFFERENT 911 calls. The calls referenced in THIS tweet do NOT include the call everyone is rightly upset about. That was a different 911 center that serves Richard’s home. These are recordingS of calls from his in-laws house.
@ClimatePower I don’t support Trump. I also don’t support your moronic, unscientific assertion that the fires in WA and OR have anything to do with climate change. Global warming will **reduce** the prevalence of fires west of the Cascade Crest, not increase it. Because physics.
