@jcpsforward @CEHD_UofL@UofL_EdLead My wife always reminds me that only if I take care of myself I can take care of my students. ... She calls it an ethical obligation. #JCPSChat
@jcpsforward A4: Have you guys tried what some call "grounding". It's to focus on something "real" in the moment. Like really focusing how something tastes that you eat. Takes only 10 seconds but it works. #JCPSChat
@mrsbuckingham16 @jcpsforward Organizing your thoughts and tasks. Works for me as well. And I LOOOOOVE crossing things off. But others can feel more overwhelmed by doing that. #JCPSChat
@jcpsforward You all mentioned already great strategies. Workout, relaxation, do something else that requires your full attention so you can't think of something work related. #JCPSchat
@jannateaches A2: @jannateaches What you do sounds helpful. Figuring out what you can control and what not. Can you let go of what you can't control? #JCPSchat
@jcpsforward I'm faculty with UofL's Counseling Psychology program and work with teachers and schools for over 20 years because I admire the great job many of you do.
