AI agents are beginning to bargain, buy & act across company boundaries.
But the agentic economy has no public black box, no shared way to see failures or perverse patterns.
I wrote about this for @getsuperintel - link in thread.
A thought. Currently we organize the world around money. Unbelievably something is happening that will change that. We will organize around intelligence. Might be obvious to a few, but that's how to wake people up to the shift, and all the miracles and nightmares to follow.

Have to say am trying @claudeai and the rate limits are miserly compared to @ChatGPTapp / @GeminiApp. Seems done in one two tasks, even on smaller models. Can this be right @AnthropicAI ?
i spent the afternoon experimenting with Gemma 4's vision capabilities
made an app that uses roboflow RF-DETR for a first pass of object detections and Gemma to summarize the scene in one sentence
for fun i asked Gemma to "describe what you see as if you were a medieval bard"
all made with free local AI models (running via webgpu in the browser thanks to transformers js)
lots more possibilities to explore with this
@ghadfield hey Gillian, excuse random tweet. Would it be ok to email or DM you? I have a truly terrible public interest alignment idea it might interest you to critique, if you had time.
@carolecadwalla A cognitive hijack. Bit like when the military go after teens in schools and malls. There is a point re outdated skills, especially in coding/comp science but that's so liquid right now no institution could be current.
🧠 Thinking is being reshaped by the media we use to express it.
🎙️ On the @FUTURESPodcast, recorded live at the @uniofwarwick, I sat down with @ProfSteveFuller to explore how new media is transforming the way knowledge is created, communicated, and contested. The themes in his new book 'Media and the Power of Knowledge' (@BloomsburyAcad).
We discussed:
✍🏻 Why the future of thinking is shaped by short form - from aphorisms to tweets - designed to explain ideas, and provoke new ones.
📡 How social media is disciplining public intellectuals - forcing clarity, compression, and performance across multiple platforms.
🤖 How Artificial Intelligence is surfacing ‘undiscovered public knowledge’ - ideas we’ve already produced, but never fully understood.
⚡ And why true intellectual integrity may lie in the ability to change your mind publicly, in real time.
In a world where everyone can publish and persuade - who gets to be heard, and what counts as knowledge?
