Just watched the game back. Yeah, the referee needs investigating. I thought some of his decisions were weird at the time, but from the moment he gave us a corner and then decided to blow for half-time, some questions need answering.
Mosquera got booked within a minute of the restart, without a warning. Saka getting booked for winning the ball. Timber being penalised for turning his man. Every 50/50 went against us, he would award PSG a free kick minutes after waving play on for the same tackle against us. As for the Madueke tackle. I’m speechless.
I'm not surprised though when Qatar are in bed with UEFA and they are PSG's sponsor.
🚨🎙️Wayne Rooney: “Arsenal have been robbed tonight” 🤯
Rooney 🗣️ “I’ll be completely honest, Arsenal were absolutely robbed tonight, there is no other way to put it. You look at that foul on Noni Madueke in the box; it’s a stonewall, 100% clear penalty. How the referee or VAR hasn't given that is beyond me, and it completely changes the dynamic of a Champions League final.
But for me, the moment that truly gave it away the moment you knew exactly what the referee was doing was that halftime whistle. To blow the whistle right as Arsenal are literally standing there about to take a corner? I’ve played this game a long time, and you rarely see that unless there’s a blatant bias. It was shocking, and it set the tone for everything that followed.
In the second half, it became a totally different game, and not because of the football. The referee made absolutely sure that every single 50/50 call, every little nudge, and every major decision went straight to PSG. It completely killed Arsenal’s momentum. But to be fair, I’m not even surprised. We saw the exact same story when they played Bayern Munich earlier in the tournament. The officiating was heavily skewed then, and it’s happened again on the biggest stage.
PSG might be lifting the trophy, but they cannot honestly look at themselves in the mirror and be proud of the way they’ve won this final. To win the biggest prize in club football like that? It leaves a horrible taste. Arsenal deserved so much more tonight.”
Our issue with the ref isn’t about the penalties. He gave every 50/50 decision to PSG, anytime we won the ball, he gave a foul and allowed PSG to constantly get away with their fouls without booking.
🚨👀#Keane “I saw how Arsenal fans celebrated and thought… what have other teams been doing when they win the league?” 😳🏆
“This felt special. Everyone around the world knew Arsenal had won the title — even people who don’t watch football.”#afc
I think it's fine for some of you to just say, 'I don't like Arsenal and don't want them to win the league' rather than pretending you have some kind of moral objection based on play style or a VAR call or whatever. It just looks sour, be honest about where you are coming from.
A few years ago my best mate was out for lunch at Soho House.
Arteta and his family were sat at a table eating. My mate (Arsenal fan) spotted him straight away, but is a decent person and respected his privacy.
Naturally though, he couldn’t help himself looking over (cont)
My gaffer @m8arteta: You and the boys have done a great job thus far, but remember that history only remembers winners. Win the League title for the boys and the entire Arsenal fanbase this season. You've got the tools and the technical know-how to do this. We believe in you!
To the boys: Win the League for your manager and the fans. Do this and write your names in the club's history. Keep your heads up and keep your eyes on the prize.

If one of you gets to see this, let the entire team know that we believe in you. Block out all the noise and negativity, and stay grounded and focused.
We are fully behind you guys. Bring this trophy home against all odds. COYG!!! ❤️🤍
A message for all Arsenal fans. I am seeing way too much moaning and entitlement in here, either from younger generation or international fans. Everyone is allowed an opinion, however criticising Arteta at a time like this is madness, the club was in a dire position when he arrived and he has turned us into serious contenders. Having seen Arsenal win 5 titles in my life, I can tell you none of them came easy.
‘89, we were clear at the top and LFC hauled us back, the football was all defensive but we got it over the line.
Liverpool were miles clear last season however there was always a time when we thought we could get back into it because the season is long and no game is easy.
Arsenal are facing teams who are good and strangling us with the low block. Set-pieces have helped us as a positive not a negative, it is part of the game. If we do win this title, it will be the hardest on since ‘89 when we had gone 18 years without a title. The mentality side of playing when you can gain an advantage is proven to be difficult.
Please stop with this entitled shit about Arteta. You don’t deserve to support this club if you are unhappy right now, winning the PL is a seriously tough task, allowing moronic @LFC, @ChelseaFC and @ManCity fans to rule us up with their salty banter is pathetic.
It is in our hands to let’s support the club!

Hi @elonmusk, I found a bug on the @X app where an ad will cover a video when switching from portrait to landscape mode. Video below to show more.
Updated to the latest 11.27 version on App Store. Device is an iPhone 14 Pro running on iOS 26.0.1. Love X, hope it is resolved.
Would love everyone with influence in the Arsenal space to share if possible.
A petition to get Ian Wright a statue outside the Emirates, with thousands of signatures already.
He deserves one. ❤️
