During these weeks, while the UN General Assembly was taking place, Russia literally used every day, every hour to strike Ukraine. Treacherous strikes. And this is what defines Russia – what they do, not what they say or send out as signals around the world.

They have spurned all genuine peace proposals and deserve truly tough pressure. This week we expect decisions from Europe on such pressure – at the very least, a new sanctions package, the 19th. It is especially important that sanctions hit painfully at Russia’s energy trade and the entire infrastructure of its tanker fleet.

Moreover, intelligence now indicates that the Russians are using tankers to launch and operate drones against European countries. This is yet more evidence why the Baltic Sea and other seas must be closed to Russian tankers – at the very least to the shadow fleet.

We also count on strong steps from the United States. We discussed with President Trump what could truly push Russia to change its position and stop the war. The world has tools that can work in a genuinely peace-making way.

Comey is NOT a victim.  He's a perpetrator.  

He did great damage to our justice system.  And he was caught.  He's accused of lying to Congress, under oath, about a phony Russian collusion scandal he and his agency helped launch and perpetuate.  It was intended to destroy his 2016 presidential campaign, then his presidency, and dragged the nation through hell -- of course, with the help and participation of the media. The lie for which he is charged with is a big lie, and it was intended to obstruct the Senate from uncovering the truth about the FBI's role in the fabricated scandal.

Let’s cut to the chase. You have spent your time putting up roadblocks and then acting shocked when federal agents show up. That is not cooperation. That is defiance wearing a governor’s pin.

You like to quote yourself before Congress, saying violent criminals have no place on our streets. But in the same breath, you championed the Trust Act and barred your own state agencies from helping ICE find them. No data sharing. No holding inmates for pickup. No cooperation. Just a press conference, a pen, and a smile for the cameras.

And then you said this:
“I’m deeply concerned… fighting like hell to make sure we don’t fall into the abyss as a result of unconstitutional actions by the president.”

That was not about due process or civil rights. That was your blanket rejection of federal immigration enforcement. You called lawful ICE raids unconstitutional not because of what agents were doing, but because you disagreed with immigration policy. And you used that as your excuse to block cooperation across the board.

This was not nuance. It was refusal. Openly and proudly.

You keep talking like a patriot while writing executive orders that function like barricades.

So let’s not pretend you are cooperating. You bragged about not helping. You built legal fences. You made sure your state became a sanctuary for exactly the people you told Congress you would not protect. Then when ICE shows up without your RSVP, you call it rogue.

You do not get to resist enforcement and then whine about not being consulted.

You are not the Department of Justice. You are a governor using state power to override federal law. That is not bravery. That is theater. And the curtain is wearing thin.
