Hey, I'd like to introduce our Storybenders!✨

Behind every single scene of Avatar Aang you see on screen, there’s an incredible team of story artists who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Many of them are wonderfully humble and a bit shy when it comes to stepping into the spotlight, so I wanted to gently pull them into the light with this post. I truly want them to receive the applause and recognition they so deeply deserve.

Over three and half long years of pre-production, they never stopped supporting us. Our film leans into a somewhat classic, formalism style where the story is driven heavily through visual staging and mise-en-scène. It wasn't an easy task at all, and I know firsthand how much pressure and hardship came with it. Yet, everyone put their whole heart and so much love into their work, and I can't thank them enough for that.

Whether someone’s contribution was big or small, or whether they were with us for a short time or the entire three and half years, every single effort mattered. Each contribution played a meaningful role in guiding our story to where it needed to be.

Thank you all so much for helping execute Lauren’s and my vision. Please send this amazing team a massive round of applause and so much love!
