@DinoDiscs Please reconsider PDGA approval. I know you intended your discs for kids, but I think there's a market for adults too. As a FA40 (soon to be FA50) player, it is hard to find good light weight discs.
A highlight of my day was sitting in on the Grade 10 "Math Masterpiece" unveiling where students were treated to their classmates' reinterpretation of classic art using graphed functions. Math can be beautiful!

@klockmath Kendra - I saw you at NCTM in 2009 and every year or two I use your photography fractal work with students to inspire them. Today I discovered your photography site has been taken down. :-( Do you have low res images you're willing to share for teaching purposes?
@doesmathforfun Glad to hear it!
After #ASBUnplugged I took the Spirograph to my tenth graders and they built virtual ones. I think there’s more potential there... we could call it ... #Spiromath
Inspired by @garystager at #asbunplugged. My new favorite question for students: "What do you want to do next?" Something's wrong if they don't have things they want to do next.
I’m looking forward to creating with math today at #ASBUnplugged 5th floor classrooms at 1:30pm. We will be “geared” towards secondary math but the tech could makes it accessible to upper elementary. #mathbuilt
I rediscovered #purpledotchat today and was inspired to try to make my own. I learned a lot from my first attempt (at a sinusoidal type function with changing periods), but ditched it in the end.
Here's a padlet with artifacts and resources from today's HS math student showcases and classroom visits. Please feel free to share. https://t.co/8Zt3BqKflR #ASBUnplugged#mathbuilt
