What if journalism could prevent conflict?
When information breaks down: trust collapses, rumours spread, conflict follows.
Yet supporting journalism costs far less than war.
15 days of global military spending = 1 year of funding for public-interest journalism.

This is Joel from Woodstock, a former Republican who came to the Fulton County Jail this morning to deliver a message:
“I want to see the sociopath who tried to steal my vote in 2020 go to prison.”
Morning Joe had a segment about “woke” and how that will be the main focus of the Republican debate.
It’s worth it to post the origins of being woke once again for those in the back.
“Stay woke. Keep your eyes open.” - Lead Belly
The Scottsboro Boys, nine Black teens falsely accused of raping two white women in 1931, were sentenced to death. NAACP forced repeated retrials. They were finally freed but never recovered.
The first documented use of the phrase “stay woke” happened in the 1930s when Lead Belly ended his song about the Scottsboro Boys by advising Black folk traveling through Alabama to “stay woke.”
The term “woke" was created by Black people referring to being alert to systemic racial injustices.

Watch this space for our brilliant new unicorn venture. Don’t tell, but we’re going to breed a non-shedding, hypoallergenic cat: the Catoodle! Or Feloodle?
David Brooks digs beautifully deep here. The folks at Boulder Crest https://t.co/CeFUqeqgwd are helping veterans and first responders with post traumatic growth at no cost. The world needs more of this.
@alansmurray Ha. The team is being measured on click-throughs, not on creativity, expressing a USP or building reputation. It worked, I'm one of the sheeple that read it!
