@smalltalkdaily@JSE_Group At R16.50 a share, what would the valuation as a percentage of assets under management be? For an asset management company growing as rapidly as Anchor, a fair percentage of assets under management would be 3% plus. Coronation trades around 2.2% of AUM
@JPLindsley Says the person who supported the muderous Khmer Rouge. By having the SAS run training camps in Thailand for the Khmer Rouge and placing sanctions on Vietnam after they deposed the Khmer Rouge in 1979. But the hypocritical old bag " values human life".
@smalltalkdaily@GovernmentZA By now, it is obvious that the SA Govt can not run businesses; the SOE failures prove this. But they don't learn. Oh, but it's only taxpayers money going down the drain so what!
@madaboutmarkets You can show that the " probability of ruin" or probability of running out of money before you die follows a particular statistical distribution of the gamma family. This actually shows that volatility is more important than returns close to and just after retirement !
@richardcalland Mr Varoufakis fails to mention that Greece spent lavishly after joining the EU which only ended with the 2008 crisis. Greece then went begging to the ECB for a bailout, which was given, and they still complained. There was no "sovereign experiment" - only socialist profligacy
@abelmike That is a Mclaren 540c, a slightly de-tuned version of the 570s. But still quick at 420 kw. The carbon fibre mono-cell cockpit is severely damaged, making it a write-off. Mclaren parts are exorbitant too.
@rodcampsbay Hitlers peace proposals were very generous to Britain. Churchill -at the behest of his financial backers in the group called "the focus" - determinedly rejected all causing significant destruction in Europe, loss of the Empire, $32bn debt to the US in 1945 and 500k British dead.
@AndreasKoureas_ He lost the Empire, caused 500 000 British deaths, destroyed much of Europe's infrastructure, allowed the rise of communism, left Britain with a $31bn debt to the US in 1945 which was only paid off in 2006. The "drunken bumb" as Roosevelt called him ruined Britain- and Europe.
@AndreasKoureas_ Churchill was instrumental in rejecting all peace offers from Hitler - all 16 of them - despite the cabinet willing to accept them.
We know Churchill was bought by a group called "The Focus" who gave him GBP40 000 in 1936 to rail against Hitler. And what did Churchill Britain?
@WineRiaan@MagnusHeystek Pam Golding are marketing a foreign currency denominated investment product to SA citizens. It falls squarely under the definition of a financial product in the FAIS act. They are rendering advice or an Intermediary service by selling the product. They will then need a licence
