Cycling, dog walking, indie pop, folk, Americana, electronica, Oxford United, Australian reds, pale ale, pork scratchings, cheese balls. And some more cycling.
@nigetassell Marvellous news! I always thought 'From Langley Park to Memphis' was a real or imagined U.S road trip. Then in 2019 I did a cycling event in County Durham and found out Langley Park is a real place! Anyway, looking forward to this enormously π
@bbcoxfordsport Can you somehow pass my sincere thanks on to Joe Cooke? Scored the winning goal for my sole appearance as mascot. A 1-0 win over Chester in 1980 in front of our lowest ever home league attendance (2,526) #oufc
@AbingdonTony Yep, I agree with all of that. It has been a blast. Swansea away in the sunshine at the end of last season, and those post match al fresco beers will live long in the memory.
@bbcoxfordsport Wonderful stuff. 40 years on I thought I was beyond getting emotional about that day. I was wrong. I have dusted down and drunk from this coffee mug today.
@suburbanjericho@_The72 Oh, I've been angry. The biggest low for me was the play-off semi-final 2nd leg after our first season in the Conference. We just rolled over and died that night against Exeter. I walked away and didn't return the following season.
@themanorpodcast "It would be the most Oxford thing to go into that (Sheff Wed) game with it (survival) in our hands, and lose". Never a truer word spoken @JamSebRob π
@DaveClarke42 Always admired him as a person and player. On that Sunderland Netflix series he knew everyone around the club by name no matter what their role. Proper 'people' skills and absolutely no sense of entitlement, unlike some of his teammates at the time.
@bbcoxfordsport Karl Robinson back with you for the Preston game you say? Just give him the mic, let him talk and only interject if there's a goal #nofilter
@rowanpowell4@aliiwolfe 'Not that arsed'. Yep, that's pretty how much how I feel, despite which I will be at Boro today. Grasping for positives, if we do go down we should at least be play-off contenders next season, and the new stadium has the green light. I think we might get something from today too.
@oxtweeter Jerome said on The Dub he was interviewed by BBC Newcastle ahead of the game and he almost laughed at their suggestion it was our cup final. Not in front of a four figure attendance, but we at least put up a fight. Virtually every 50:50 decision went Sunderland's way of course.
