@BenBird53920553 Have to ask the Lord, but Elijah and Moses appeared on the mount of transfiguration, Elijah never tasted death, and yet, he passed his mantle.
@gantry_the1991@Rainmaker1973 The nerve block helps decrease this later pain, but there is still a large amount of pain/soreness expected afterward, That's where other pain medications will be given during recovery, until the pain. Becomes tolerable.
@gantry_the1991@Rainmaker1973 The anesthesia is usually done in 2 parts, 1 is general, the patient is unconscious
But they will also introduce a local anesthetic right next to relevant nerves (called " nerve block")
So the patient really doesn't feel anything during surgery, there is pain later though.
@littleapostate Hospitals have all sorts of "mandatory" policies or procedures
So for the nurse, it is "required."
But with VERY few exceptions, you can always refuse or act "against medical advice."
@Bless_ThisMess7 Whatever you do, punishments are best when known beforehand. I rarely (and usually incorrectly in anger) jump straight to punishment.
If this continues-than x will happen.
That way, there is no surprise when x happens.
In scripture, God always gives warning to his children.
@Bless_ThisMess7 Rather than picking their favorite pastime and taking it.
I might instead start binning items left out 1 a day, clothes, toys, etc.
They may get stuck wearing the same few shirts, not have toys they care about. Etc.
But every day the room is clean, I return one item.
@IllariaDiMar It's largely because we believe God has a body, many Christians don't even think Christ still has a body, I've talked to some that think that resurrection and raise dead are synonymous, and that Christ's body died again.
@ron_robey@vivian39_ And if you read the book of Malachi, this wasn't some inventory accounting for the levites. God addresses Israel his "nation of priests"
And while Pharisees corrupted the intent, tithing was known to all judea even at Christ's time.
So, as God said "will a man rob God?"
@ron_robey@vivian39_ You don't think God would have held Jacob to that covenant?
It's clear that God took such promises seriously. He certainly did not forget Israel.
while act 5 may not be "tithing" it was a required monetary offering, that saw the offender struck down for "robbing God"
@TrustlessState My pipedream solution, freeze their accounts for the duration of their terms, and have them make the median American income.
Many would not stay perpetually, and anyone in long term would have some motivation to improve the mean.
@MikeSMillerArt So a marriage "bound on earth" by one with authority, like Peter would be "bound in heaven"
The things we make or do as many have an end, but God's work and authority are eternal, those things done by his authority are also eternal.
