Patriot. Christian. No quarter for fascists/racists. I block hate and willful stupidity. (That means you, MAGA) Slava Ukraini. Pro NATO Pro NAFO (he/him/y’all)
And yet, one of the most shameful incidents of the entire four-year-long major war was the conduct of the USA—which initially pressured Ukraine to submit to a tyrant, only to later wash its hands of the matter entirely and forget the Budapest Memorandum.
In fact, it was one of the most shameful events in the entire 250-year history of the United States—an act that reset its image as a "bastion of democracy and universal human values" to factory settings.

Oh, and by the way, mass murderer Putin wished Trump a happy birthday.
President Trump @POTUS and I had a very good conversation today on many key topics: the war, its roots, diplomatic opportunities, and the positions of our partners.
President Trump’s remarks were absolutely spot-on, particularly regarding our Crimea: it was Russia’s seizure of Crimea that started it all, and if there had been strong leadership back then, this entire war simply wouldn’t have happened.
All Ukrainians have one wish for President Trump: that we may finally achieve peace, and achieve this success together with the U.S. and all our partners. This is the most important thing we want, and it is crucial that American society is fully supporting this Ukrainian aspiration for a dignified peace.
I thank all friends of Ukraine and everyone who helps us obtain important information and supports Ukrainian intelligence operations. Our intelligence agencies reported on the results of their work to assess the internal situation in Russia and obtain documents that end up on the Russian leader’s desk. We understand that Putin rarely receives information that is entirely truthful and unvarnished. But even what he sees in the documents that reach him still allows conclusions to be drawn.
In particular, the so-called “projected indicators” of Russians’ dissatisfaction with Putin will continue to rise steadily, and he is already being conditioned to accept the idea that this growing dissatisfaction cannot be stopped and that this indicator “will not plateau” by September, when parliamentary elections are scheduled in Russia.
As for the level of support for Russia’s ruling party, a steady downward trend is being recorded, which means significantly greater electoral fraud will be needed. They are also reporting a substantial rise in protest sentiment in Russian regions. We believe these reports also do not yet take into account the potential events of June, July, and August, which are bound to further affect the situation in Russia.
The entirely justified pressure on Russia over this war will continue and intensify – and it won’t be just our pressure. So by September, Putin will be facing significantly worse indicators. Unfortunately, to all the public and non-public peace proposals we have made, the only response has been words about continuing his war.
The internal situation in Russia should convince him of the opposite: that peace is needed. Ukraine is proposing to negotiate a dignified peace. Obviously, the trends will not change, and over time this may mean that an agreement will have to be reached with someone else from Russia – someone who will not shut themselves off from reality. Glory to Ukraine!
Russian Colonel Oleg Sokolenko, the military commissar of Rostov's Pervomaysky and Proletarsky districts, has died after falling from a window of his own apartment.
Sokolenko was found unconscious beneath his apartment building with injuries consistent with a fall. He later died from his injuries.
Before everyone celebrates the supposed US-Iran peace deal:
Maybe remember that Trump was pushing for a deal to be signed on his birthday for symbolic purposes.
Actual deal won’t be signed until June 19th. Let’s see what happens with Strait of Hormuz traffic in the interim.
Periodic reminder to our allies that Trump will always abandon you.
This is twice in a week that Trump has demanded that Israel not respond to attacks on its own territory.
We would *never* accept those demands from one of our allies.
“We are deeply disturbed to learn so many senior members of the Trump administration gathered in the Situation Room to discuss the release of the Epstein Files as a reputational problem… we are separately concerned Todd Blanche was at that table.”
Honor Guards are trained for state funerals, fallen soldier ceremonies, and dignitary protocol. That is their sacred operational mandate. Trump just deployed them as set dressing for a UFC card. You don’t get to call yourself a patriot and applaud this.
Russia is carrying out hundreds of strikes against Ukrainian cities and communities, attacking our civilian infrastructure every day. This past week alone, the Russians have launched 1,920 attack drones, 1,790 guided aerial bombs, and 17 missiles of various types against Ukraine. We need to step up our countermeasures against these attacks. We are preparing for meetings with partners to strengthen our defense against this Russian terror. The G7, EU, and NATO summits are ahead. And it is very important that these negotiations result in concrete decisions. We expect meaningful meetings with our partners.
First and foremost, we need support for air defense and our long-range capabilities, an expansion of cooperation in the Drone Deals format, and further strengthening of sanctions pressure on Russia. We must end this war in a dignified way and with guaranteed security. And it is through strength, the unity of partners, and pressure on Russia that this can be achieved in a lasting way. I thank everyone who is helping us!
Not enough people are talking about this.
Trump is trying to escape a $100 million dollar tax penalty, and Senate Republicans are helping him do it.
You know about the $1.8 billion slush fund he tried to create to reward his political allies. They got so much pushback that they’ve halted that, at least for now. But what you probably don’t know is that Trump gave himself, his family, and his businesses complete immunity from IRS audits, past and future.
Everyone focused on the slush fund, and almost nobody noticed the audit immunity. It’s still in place, and it cannot be allowed to stand.
Today is Donald Trump’s 80th birthday, representing eight decades of a man who has done more than anyone to hurt the West, elevate its enemies, and trap us in a post-truth nightmare.
While he is certainly a symptom of a deeper political illness, he has actively made things much worse.
Let us be clear that there is nothing to celebrate today, because Trump is the most traitorous, deeply corrupt, and overall worst president in the history of the US. He is a compromised, horrible human being who has lost the respect of anyone with half a brain. His deep ties as a best friend to Jeffrey Epstein prove he knew exactly what was going on behind closed doors. He is the lowest of the low.
He has spent years threatening American allies, appeasing foreign enemies, and losing the reckless trade wars he started.
His leadership has left Americans poorer, more stupid, more polarized, and trapped inside a decadent, ever more authoritarian joke of an administration that hurts the whole world.
He is a traitor. His alignment with autocracy is clear in how he sides with Russia over Ukraine and China over Taiwan. He even systematically undermined domestic safety by installing a Russian asset as the Director of National Intelligence and an anti-science, anti-vaxx Russian asset as Health Secretary. No one is better than Trump at sabotaging the US.
The only bright side to his birthday is that he is old, ensuring he will not be able to stay in power forever. He will never be missed by anyone with a brain and/or a heart, and if I believed in hell, I would seriously doubt it is bad enough for him
