@wearetherace Was willing to dismiss your staff’s handwringing on the new formula and PU regs until the season’s first quali. It’s all true. A disaster. Now seeing Kemmel straight, all of Monza, everything between Copse through Hangar as a joke. Mario Kart without the mushrooms. #mguk250kw
@F1 Despite the race media’s handwringing, I was willing to give this new formula the benefit of the doubt. But now it’s official. Slowing down in the middle of a straight is a joke. Embarrassing. #f1joke
@AppleTV Just watched Apple TV's F1 coverage for Melbourne. Following FP1-2, Apple ran ads and then switched over to the Sky feed rather than continuing the F1 TV post practice coverage. Really? Since when do ads come with a paid subscription?
@AppleTV In FP1 and FP2, Apple didn't continue the F1 TV post practice coverage. Instead, Apple ran ads at the end of P1 and P2; This is unacceptable. Since when does a paid subscription come with ads? Additionally, the driver-cam coverage didn't isolate the driver audio.
@MeyerShankRac One team member? Seriously? And you consider this matter closed? Seriously? Your press statement reflects the same cheating attitude as the one that earned your false win. How about you own it?
@JennaFryer Drivers either should have their watches refitted with a hovering asterisk, or they should return them. Certainly they won’t be caught wearing it.
@wbuxtonofficial@Hinchtown Excellent Austin FP1 coverage. For a first go? Couldn’t be better. Maybe not yet as deliciously candid as Palmer - but give him time. He’ll bring his podcast persona into it by Sunday.
@TedAlcorn@CDCgov The lowering of the FET did not lower alcohol prices. The reduced FET was directed to support small, independent producers. Raising the FET back will only put small business under. And a bottle of Jack or Smirnoff will remain the same price either way. Happy to chat, Ted.
@TedAlcorn@nytimes Ted failed to interview small spirits owners for this piece. Raising taxes only raises the price on small brands that can't afford to absorb the cost. The excise tax had only reduced for small suppliers. Raising tax won't lower consumption. It will only eliminate 1000's of jobs.
@autosport @mattkewF1 Kew is the last of the F1 journo Fleet Street styled writers holding to the embarrassingly imperious and dated view of Indy. Those who left Autosport in the past few years have taken the time and turned the corner to offer objective voices towards Indy's unparalleled drivers.
