When I started radio, I had to work on Good Friday. I told my station I was going to do a show on Good Friday. They didn’t know what I meant. I did a three hour gospel presentation. The CEO sent word that I was never to do it again. On Monday, people showed up at work and everybody’s voicemail was filled up with demands for copies of the show. Now they make me do a Christmas show too and I’m about to hit 100 stations. Finally enrolled at RTS so I could improve the show. @LigonDuncan this one’s for you.
Congratulations to senior forward Meg Barbour who scored the 1000th point of her career with a 3rd quarter field goal in tonight’s win over Silliman. Meg, we are proud of you for this remarkable achievement! @megbarbour_
“But as the chancellor answered questions, he faced more sleeping students (a handful, including one in the front row) than vocal protesters (none).” The messaging might change, but some things about a college orientation stay the same. Go Dores
We were shocked by the mockery of the Last Supper during the opening ceremonies of the Paris Olympics. C Spire will be pulling our advertising from the Olympics.
https://t.co/QVo25YIqCB The White House will hold a listening session to find out how to reform PBMs. The issue isn't that we don't know what needs to be done; the issue is that the politicians are addicted to money from PBM lobbyists and will not take the correct action. The only entity taking action is a group of State Attorney Generals. The anti-trust and exemption from Federal kickback laws need to be removed from PBMs. Spread pricing needs to be outlawed, and they should charge a flat fee and not one based on the list price. All of the charges should be transparent. I am available if the White House would like to listen to me. I will be very honest and represent the interests of patients, taxpayers, Independent pharmacies and will wait for the call!
I wrote something for TGC I wrestled through for years. Turns out what I was once tempted to think was a stain on the character of God is a beautiful magnification of his holiness, mercy and grace.
Agree 100% Drew. Dr Bob was an old school public servant. He wasn’t in it for praise or credit. And wasn’t scared of criticism when he was trying to do the right thing. A good man.
Saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Bob Robinson, a legendary Mississippi public servant who led the Department of Public Welfare, the A&I Board, the Governor's Office of Job Development & Training, the State Personnel Board, MDOT, and @MSMedicaid from 1972 to 2012.
