ML day 2:
Learning about backpropagation. Will defo need to dive deeper, regretting to not have practiced calculus for a while 😞 but fascinating !
So much to learn
Learning ML day 1:
Watching the videos of 3Blue1Brown on deep learning and linear algebra, goated explanations.
Cost function with gradient descent was complex but learning so much, exciting time !
@jarredsumner Been 5 years and I realise I actually love writing code but only dealing with new problems. Working on the same things from the last 5 years feels draining and I just can’t put passion into it…
I’m a developer since 5 years and have to admit I never really made a big clean side project except from courses, too lazy.
Now that I started a proper one, I feel I’m learning way more that I did at my job in a while.
The adapter links my auth to the DB trough Prisma. You can choose providers for the auth (tons of them available, I'll start with GitHub for simplicity). Then you need to generate a secret (run: openssl rand -base64 32). Then just export your stuff
I'm using Prisma to make interactions with my DB ez. It's basically handling the schema generation, giving me intellisense + types to them, makes migrations super quick and I can interact with the DB from next directly without even relying on a BE.
Gonna try out Next with the server actions + prisma + postgres on Vercel, auth handled by Auth.js, seems like the fastest and easier way of setting up + deploy a full stack app
