@HeatherACofer How dare you presume to know how they should feel the spirit testify to them. Why can’t you let them have their testimony? Do you need to be right so badly that you can’t love another and respect their agency? Jesus said to love them, not judge them.
@BasedMikeLee Thanks for standing up for truth. Who cares what they think? The driving force behind the "Mormons aren't Christians" thing is priestcraft. We are a threat to a pastor's bottom line so they strive to keep us out of the club. We evangelize and it's a threat to them.
@defense_of_fam Im glad that talk helped. Each of us should do the best we can first and allow others to govern themselves. When I remember that what someone else is doing is none of my business, I’m a lot happier. Comparison is ego. There’s no place for it in the gospel.
@Bar_tolmi Here's a great idea. Worry about you. You're only accountable for your life. You don't get to answer for anybody else. So, mind your own business. Leave people alone. Quit feeding your ego on demeaning and denigrating others. It's not Christlike.
@ldsabuse LOL. Of course it's gonna go badly! The devout person isn't gonna validate the person with the "faith crisis". They'll stick to their faith and the person wanting to leave is gonna feel unloved and not supported. Instead of challenging doubts, they enter an echo chamber.
@tamarranicole A member, who uses a public platform to openly voice disagreement and dissent, tries to influence people away from said church, is excommunicated via a disciplinary council to which he was invited to attend and then he calls it a “kangaroo court”. 🤣 God bless him.
@FatherChrisVor1 LOL. So, as long as you don't say the words, "Jesus Christ" when referring to them, you somehow rationalize them not being Christian, despite their many testimonies of Him. Just be honest, bro. You feel better not having them in your Jesus club. Its cool. They'll survive.
@rogerecoff What father in the world wants his child to be "less" than him? If your son was to become greater than you, would that take away or add to you? Glory goes upward, not downward. When I add glory to me, it adds glory to the Father. Why would you ever be against that?
@pimomormon@Bar_tolmi Never once, in all my days had a JW try and destroy me like ExMo's and anti Mormons do. Had some great and lively debates, but they generally live and let live. You should too. It is the loving thing to do. It is the respectful thing to do.
@Bar_tolmi So, you get joy out of destroying? Why? Who would you be you if you allowed others the freedom to follow their own path and let them live their life? You should sit with that dude. It's their business. leave them to it.
@jesse_k_fox For me, it's all about identity. Those who leave tend to identify with something far less than what they really are. Ego wants predictability, comfort and ease. What is demanded from one's true identity requires the loss of ego and the natural man. It's highly uncomfortable.
