I personally believe your review is accurate and fair. Yes, the film will make money, and very likely win awards, but it is poorly constructed, poorly edited, and with pitiful sound. And the version constructed by the director is in my judgment a poorly conceived modern retelling and deeply flawed and sadly twisted tale that literally insults the majesty of Homer’s original saga that has entranced mankind for thousands of years.
