My thoughts on classroom management:

Posted rules don’t matter. The only ones that count R those you enforce.

Embarrassing kids leads 2 disrespect. Don’t do that.

Good lessons are more effective than good rules.

Everything is easier if you build relationships with the kids.

“When students are performing below grade-level, the typical response is to remediate and slow things down. But because The Crown represents grade-level or better, there must be a shift in your thinking. Growing students to the crown requires you to become more nimble, efficient, and urgent to accelerate their learning.

You may find that there isn’t time to make up every learning target. So, starting with student’s strengths, you’ll evaluate which targets have the most leverage; or bang for the buck. The goal is to identify the most efficient path to standard or better.”

Emma Kilinski, a @RiverbendBears student, handmade weighted sensory blankets for @BresBobcats students w/ special needs. After extensive research & conversations w/ special education teachers, Emma designed these weighted lap pads for students w/ sensory input issues. AMAZING!!
