@One_Way_Home I got out of the Navy at 25 in 1990. I went to college and became an engineer at 30. We had our crazy stuff but nothing like what is going on in the world now. The young people are now not doing what they need to do.
@historyrock_ I don't know why I am responding to this.
I was born in 1965. My father died in 1973. We had one TV and I was not allowed to watch it. My Stereo and my Detroit music stations allowed me to live outside my world.
@jeremyct As his son, a Gen X, like myself, why didn't you take his lead and work hard and get an education and succeed? I would never refinance the house! Buy within your needs and pay off the house by 60 and retire.
My dad died in 1973 of ALS when I was 7. Somehow, I did this.
