I'm delighted to share that I'll be joining the psychology department @DickinsonCol in the fall as an assistant professor! This step would not have been possible without my many mentors and my incredible colleagues @GrinnellCollege during my time as a VAP.
@LindsayMasland @bmartinhard I didn't realize the for-credit piece was what you were aiming for! Not sure whether there is a for-credit option for the Duke classes or not.

@Fede_Bulgarelli It depends on how many students you have, but I have given them a survey asking for their top ~5 topic choices and then assigned to try to give them one of their top choices (when possible). I find it helps with investment if they had some input into the topic they are leading.
Getting to work with and mentor teaching fellows alongside @bmartinhard was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my graduate career. Bridgette’s approach to Intro Psych and the fellows’ creativity continue to shape my classroom practices today.
With training and guidance from @DukePsychNeuro's Bridgette Martin Hard, selected Duke seniors spent the academic year teaching their own small sections of Psych 101 to their younger Duke peers. Learn more about the collaborative peer-teaching model

A heartbreaking loss for our country and for Wellesley. Secretary Madeleine Albright ’59 was a force of nature in politics & a living embodiment of Wellesley’s motto, Non Ministrari sed Ministrare—Not to be ministered unto, but to minister.
