I can't think of a clearer signal that aging establishment Democrats are weighing down the party and should retire to make room for new blood immediately
Voters are absolutely sick and tired of establishment politics. It’s not ideological and that’s what the parties, pollsters and politicians are missing.
The consulting class keeps trying to explain this phenomenon in their own partisan box & they keep missing it.
What's happening in NYC is a blaringly loud message to those in the Dem establishment who still cling to old politics, recite focus-grouped talking points, and are too afraid to say what needs to be said.
We have a lot to learn from @ZohranKMamdani and his campaign.
"Regarding Saturday’s parade, Mr. Trump made no distinction between the right to peacefully assemble that is guaranteed by the First Amendment and engaging in violence and vandalism." @EricaLG me

I will say it again: the degree that the Republican Party has been compromised by Russia is the great under-reported story of our time.
The Russians helped elect Trump in 2016. Why is this not obvious? Because we are in denial.
From the NRA to much of right wing media, they are acting as Russian propagandists. Some are paid through third parties, some are paid in career advancement.
The Republican Party has been compromised.
It's truly disgraceful to watch Trump give a nakedly political speech at Fort Bragg, and encourage uniformed members of the military to boo and hiss political opponents. I realize we've given up on norms from the before times, but it's still awful and harmful to the military!
Just so I’m fully understanding.
If Apple makes an iPhone in India to sell in New York, it gets a 25% penalty charged.
But if Samsung makes a Galaxy in South Korea to sell in New York, it gets a 10% penalty charged?
So we’re giving a 15% price advantage to foreign companies?
And this is to Make America Great Again?
What’s that old expression? Don’t piss down my back and tell me it’s raining? Well that applies here. The stock market is a direct reflection of Trumps 1st 100 days in office. Doesn’t mean it won’t get better and that we don’t need to be patient, but this is his market not Bidens
This has probably been the least successful first hundred days of a presidency @realDonaldTrump on the economy in the last century. We have seen the stock market go down, the dollar go down, forecasts of unemployment go up, forecasts of inflation go up, forecasts on the odds of a recession go up. We've seen consumer confidence collapse. We've seen businesses take back all their previous earnings projections. So, this has been a disastrous hundred days for the US economy.
