🌱5/06/2026 I World Environment Day 2026 | Beach Cleaning Drive

On the occasion of World Environment Day, a Beach Cleaning Drive was organised at Dadar Chowpatty by ABVP's Students For Development (SFD) Konkan, in association with Punyanagari, with the resolve of "Swachh Kinara, Sundar Mumbai."

Students and citizens came together to contribute towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Mumbai through collective action and environmental awareness.

ABVP Konkan President Vaidya Kailas Sonmankar ji, SFD Konkan Convenor Praveen Shukla, and ABVP Dadar Nagar Sah-Mantri Shri Piyush Tiwari were present on the occasion and encouraged participants in this environmental initiative.

Paper Leak Row: What’s unfolding now | ABVP MUMBAI

ABVP Mumbai has escalated the matter to the Hon’ble Governor, demanding a SIT probe into the Mumbai University paper leak. With an FIR already registered against a varsity staffer (currently absconding), and multiple papers reportedly compromised, this clearly points to a larger organized racket.

Students from several major colleges are now coming forward, reporting papers being circulated 1 hour before exams.
ABVP Mumbai has also demanded that MU immediately clarify next steps, whether exams will be reconducted and how fairness will be ensured.

This is not an isolated incident. This is a systemic failure.
Truth must come out. Accountability must be fixed.

A delegation from Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Mumbai, met the Honorable Governor of Maharashtra, Shri @Jishnu_Devvarma, on 15th April regarding the TY B. Com paper leak incident at the University of Mumbai. During the meeting, the delegation apprised the Honorable Governor of the seriousness of the issue and requested the constitution of a Special Investigation Team (sIT) to ensure a thorough and time-bound investigation, along with strict action against those responsible.

A detailed memorandum outlining the concerns and demands was also submitted. The Honorable Governor acknowledged the gravity of the matter and assured the delegation of prompt intervention and necessary action to ensure justice for the students of the University of Mumbai.

बृहन्मुंबई महानगरपालिकेच्या आयुक्त पदी श्रीमती अश्विनी भिडे जी यांची नियुक्ती झाल्याबद्दल त्यांचे हार्दिक अभिनंदन. बीएमसीच्या इतिहासातील त्या पहिल्या महिला आयुक्त ठरल्या आहेत, ही आपल्या सर्वांसाठी अत्यंत गौरवाची बाब आहे.
