The Royal Thai Government has dispatched a specialized task force of 55 personnel from the Army Operations Department to Myanmar via special aircraft. The mission aims to provide humanitarian assistance and disaster relief support to Myanmar, as well as to assist Thai nationals affected by the earthquake in Naypyidaw and Mandalay.

The specialized task force includes various mission teams such as a control unit, liaison officers, urban search and rescue teams, emergency medical assistance units, damage assessment teams, and communications specialists.

This deployment follows Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra's directive to the Ministry of Defence to organize immediate aid to Myanmar in the wake of the devastating earthquake.

The initial deployment will focus on providing immediate relief and conducting an assessment of Myanmar's specific needs. This assessment will then be reported back to the Thai government to authorize further assistance as required. #Thailand #Myanmar #earthquake #แผ่นดิน���หว

Myanmar earthquake's scared reality

The pains, suffering and agony of the affected families are immense, beyond what words can express.

In their time of grief and profound sadness, the survivors find support from the monks in Myanmar, who offer blessings and encouragement as the survivors sit and kneel down before the bodies of their loved ones on the street.

These families have faced a double tragedy: they lost their loved ones in a severe natural disaster and have also lost their homes for which the bodies of their loved ones lay on the street before proper burial service.

I truly appreciated the rescued teams from neighborhood countries. @SCDF However, the most affected areas are #Mandalay, #Sagaing in Central Burma.

Naypyidaw has minor damage. Central Burma does not have enough equipment & resources. It should be prioritized.
