The video isn’t meant to convince you to run your kit like this. In fact I’m telling you that you never will. It’s meant to demonstrate just how modular the Apøthecary actually is.

By default:
• The top strap is fully removable and converts into a standalone 2-point sling (adapters included).
• It integrates directly with the H-harness.
• It doubles as a placard on your plate carrier.
• And Yüs… you can absolutely slap the placard onto the top strap and make a ridiculous little bandolier. 😂

Do I expect anyone to run all of this? Again, Absolutely not.

The point isn’t the configuration, it’s showing that the functionality is already there, right out of the box. Roast the presentation all you want, but the goal was simply to showcase the modularity.

That’s kind of the entire design philosophy behind RÈBÈLs RÄIDÈRs: buy one piece of kit, get multiple ways to use it.

A little hard to explain, but every Väkärián already includes a waist strap so you can convert the included placard and H-harness into a standalone chest rig.

I’ve updated that strap by adding a Velcro section, allowing it to route through the rear plate bag just like a traditional cummerbund.

That opens up a few new options, but the biggest ones are:

• Remove the elastic cummerbund entirely and Convert leftover front and rear plate bags into a standalone minimalist plate carrier.

• Run the strap over a fully configured Väkärián to help retain and secure your rifle.

If you’ve ever used the USMC Gen II plate carrier, the concept is very similar.

Yüs… and because the Väkärián is built around non-proprietary standards, it’ll work with a lot of other companies’ components too.
