@ActusDei@sugataghoshET But the collections so far have been good at 17 bn within 4 weeks. Some bankers are anticipating the pace to pickup in Aug and Sep.
Mumbai is finally witnessing what governance looks like when an honest officer simply does his job with integrity.
Famous eateries such as K Rustom, Shalimar and others are being raided, unhygienic dairies like Parsi Dairy are being shut, and now Maharashtra has introduced stricter food safety rules - free drinking water, no newspaper wrapping, staff health checks, food safety training, stricter hygiene and more.
Makes you wonder, if every IPS, IAS and IRS officer worked with this kind of integrity, how different would India look!
If you still do not know who I am talking about, it is newly appointed FDA Commisioner Tukaram Mundhe. 🫡
@bhaktlaunda_@bankofbaroda@HDFC_Bank@ICICIBank I completely agree. They don’t take customer complains seriously. Take days to get a simple query resolved in such times when everything can be closed so fast.
@bankofbaroda I am holding an account for more than a decade. Activated my Internet banking last year, still not working. They decline the phone number linked with the account. Your customer care number doesn’t work. Wondering what world you are surviving in.
“In India, barring a few communities (Gujarati, Marwadi), in other communities, not enough time is spend on learning Investing.”
“People are taught to spend a lot of time studying, but Investing is a skill set which is equally important.”

Countries like Australia, Singapore, New Zealand have already made financial literacy a part of the school curriculum.
India’s financialization is underway, but people are not well equipped to handle it.
@AxisBank your investment services are deteriorating. Sold my MF units of select schemes. The process concluded on 3rd Jun and yet to reflect in the account statement. Can someone from your team get in touch ? Wondering what’s the point of taking regular route ! @AxisBankSupport
The @MMRDAOfficial wants 2 lakh BKC corporates to leave their cars at home every Friday starting June 12 for Public Transport Day.
Spoiler: It’s going to crash and burn. Here is why:
The last-mile nightmare: BKC is heavily car-centric. Getting off at Bandra/Kurla stations or the Metro is easy; getting from there to your office means surviving chaotic auto-rickshaw lines or waiting 25 mins for an already packed BEST bus.
Monsoon madness: Launching a walking/bus initiative in mid-June? Good luck navigating BKC’s concrete desert with zero shade or rain cover during a Mumbai downpour.
Rules for thee: Let’s be real. The CXOs and senior bosses aren't jumping into overcrowded locals. They'll just move their Friday meetings to Lower Parel or work from home.
Great intent, but unless they flood the streets with hundreds of seamless, high-frequency feeder buses overnight, Fridays in BKC are just going to be an absolute mess.
@AxisBankSupport Got in touch with the support desk number you provided. The lady from Axis MF said she won’t be able to assist me on this. Tired or following up. Can you please ask someone from support team to get in touch ?
@ActusDei Hi. Historically monsoon has less significant impact on both inflation and growth - I’ve seen the historical data myself. Also, India crude basket (mix of sweet and sour grade) for Jun has come below 100.
Ridham Desai is a senior leader in a big firm. I am sure he has a high paying job and his Bonus component would be hefty too. His articulation is really good, English vocabulary is leagues ahead of many non-Elite-school average Indians like us.
But none of this gives him the right to throw random numbers at people. I made a collage of his/MS’s earlier predictions. How can you keep making such random claims and yet, get away?
How does Morgan Stanley allow this to happen?
@sambhavdaga@ActusDei Agree. But they should consider raising the exemption limit given how market has evolved over the years. Don’t cut the LTCG, but raise the exemption limit - sure will benefit many retail investors.
