Over 100 passionate educators chose to participate in our very first Dual Language Academy!

The event covered an array of topics designed to empower our teachers and enhance their expertise in dual language education. From creating a dynamic classroom environment to implementing effective biliteracy instructional strategies, our educators delved into bridging in math, explored the art of translanguaging, and honed their skills in modeling academic language while validating the unique linguistic variations that enrich our diverse school community!

There was a captivating Q&A session at the end along with exciting raffles!

@D99Cicero is HAPPY to be coming #BackToSchool! 🎉📚

Thousands of people attended our biggest Back To School Fair yet!

Every child that attended went home with a FREE Backpack and school supply kit!

There were train rides, bounce houses, hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, visits from the Ninja Turtles, school mascots, the @ChickfilA cow and even a live BMX show!

What a show! Live music from Electro retro and our D99 student band kept everyone singing and dancing all night long!

We had so much fun celebrating coming back to school! See you next week!
