A 2months old baby developed abscess after an injection to the left thigh. The mother brought the baby to the hospital after it has gotten very bad.
Early recognition & management is paramount please.

When pregnant women are advised to take antenatal serious, it always seems as tho we are always shouting.
Take your routine drugs! take your folic acid supplement!!
Now a beautiful baby is born without a skull and poorly developed brain.
Something that could have been avoided
If you are expecting to get pregnant, start taking folic acid 1-3 months before.
If you are already pregnant, register with any hospital or PHC immediately and start Antenatal.
Ensure to improve your nutrition(green veggies and fruits)
Always take your medications!!!
