Doctors do not own CT/MRI machines in most cases. These are run by diagnostic centers or private labs.
The variation in cost is not because of the doctor but because of market pricing, equipment quality, location, subsidies, and negotiations.
Doctors are legally and ethically accountable for every diagnosis. If a CT scan is missed and a disease is not detected, it is the doctor who is blamed not the lab.
So when a doctor advises a scan, it is usually to avoid risk to the patient’s health, not to make money.
The commission myth
While malpractices do exist in some places, it is wrong to generalize that all doctors take 30–50% commission.
In reality, many ethical doctors get no commission at all they only refer to centers they trust for quality and accuracy of reports
Blaming the entire medical community is like saying all politicians are corrupt or all police take bribes ,a sweeping generalization that is unfair.
Why prices vary so much
A ₹7,000 scan may be done on a high end, latest CT machine in a corporate hospital with 24/7 emergency care.
A ₹3,000 scan may be at a charity trust with subsidized rates.
A ₹1,100 scan may be possible due to personal contacts, discounts, or older machines.
Just like airline tickets or hotel rooms, the same service can have different prices depending on where you go.
The vast majority of doctors in India work for modest salaries (₹30,000–80,000/month in government/private hospitals) despite putting in 24–36 hour shifts.
Many provide free consultations, free samples, and discounted treatments quietly, without publicity.
Branding them as mafia is deeply demoralizing for a profession built on trust and sacrifice.
I hit millionaire status at 35.
Not because I was the smartest.
Not because I worked the hardest.
I got there by breaking the rules society told me to follow.
Here are 11 rules you should break, too:
A 26 year old woman set on FIRE by Husband and MIL infront of her son over dowry demand of Rs. 36 Lakhs.
Centuries old atrocities on women
haven't reduced but risen in recent times.
But please tell me how men these days fear marriage in the Indian Subcontinent.
Whenever a Woman dies Dowry Death; People responsible for this tragedy:
3) Husband, In-Laws
2) Woman herself who did not walk out of such an abusive marriage
1) Parents of woman who make tall claims of giving endless dowry in the first place
▪️My question to all such parents is:
What is the desperation to parcel off your daughter to such a greedy family?
Instead of throwing money in dowry to give her "fake security," why don't you invest the same money in making your daughter fully independent???
Greater Noida Dowry Case is yet another example of inhuman monsters that exist in our society

That arrogance comes from the assurance that the system is corrupt and you'll be bailed out sooner or later. And somebody who's setting up his wife on fire will anyway have zero remorse.
“Andrea used a WhatsApp text message group with other journalists who cover the royal family for British newspapers and television networks—a group known as the "royal rota" — to trash the Telegraph story and say there would be consequences for any outlet that used the information.” 😱
something has gone really wrong in the 2palaces, they said Harry lied these kind of threats don’t happen & they don’t tell the media what to report or how to report it, the leaked WhatsApp messages beg to differ👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾
To all the people who saw H&M at the show and even participate in their food but didn’t take/post one pic, thanks for being decent human being by respecting their privacy so they could enjoy date night.
Y’all, King Charles is apparently complaining to his media buddies that he doesn’t like the Sussex Squad & members of the public pointing out that his cruel & petty actions show that he doesn’t care about Harry or Harry’s kids.
Just watched the Prince Harry interview, and there is nothing shocking about them not wanting to give Meghan security since 2007 or them signalling to other governments to not protect them. King Charles has only ever cared about himself and Camilla, no one has ever thought of him as a good father.
Cancelled my The Guardian subscription. I dont want my money to go to a paper that attacks and attacks whilst they ignore the facts. They dont have to like but they can or used to write fairly, however they are now a tabloid. Shame on them,
The way I see it, Camilla has always been ahead, wiser, and a better ex and parent than Charles. In the end, she actually won and has all she ever wanted. She even gets her ex to do royal duties on her behalf! The press don't bother kids, and she wears England's crown!
"They will look after the heir & I will look after the Spare. I have to. Others in the family seem to concentrate on William. I pour more love and attention into Harry as compensation for any unfair treatment." - Princess Diana
The UK courts admitted that Prince Harry’s security concerns were “powerful and moving”—but still denied him protection. Behind that decision is something even more disturbing: Harry is forced to go through the Royal Household—yes, the same institution that’s smeared him, erased Meghan from documents, and helped push them out—to even be part of the conversation with RAVEC. That’s a clear conflict of interest. And RAVEC? They never even conducted an annual risk assessment. That’s not policy—it’s punishment.
This is the same system that failed Diana. Harry isn’t being dramatic—he’s exposing the truth. He said it clearly: the same institutions that preyed on his mother are now endangering his family. He didn’t lose a legal battle. He exposed a coordinated attempt to keep him vulnerable while the palace maintains deniability. When history catches up, it won’t ask why Harry spoke—it’ll ask why the monarchy stayed silent.
