People seem disappointed by a16z crypto’s rebrand. I don’t think we need to be.

Blockchain will become part of the infrastructure the world runs on, powering finance and many other industries. It will become so intertwined with AI and fintech that the boundaries between them matter less and less.

Moving from experimentation to delivering real value is how we get to mass adoption. The industry will become much bigger in the process, even as “crypto” becomes a less visible label.
