A mate of mine is a part owner of the 2nd Thornaby Annie so I backed her as he fancied her to run a big race. Jack Garritty rode a great race to gun down the runaway leader 100 yards out but Laura Pearson timed it to perfection on The Sweet Escape, some ride 👏🏻👌🏻

Bottom left picture was Dakota Gold winning our race at Redcar, which we were buzzing with. The Redcar crowd that day were really appreciative of seeing a top sprinter strut his stuff on the Riviera. Have a grand retirement old boy !!
