Why were they de-accredited? The department lacks basic facilities and staff required of Radiography programs across Nigeria to effectively train student radiographers- A functional x-ray machine, ultrasound machine, virtual radiography model and adequate staff.

These requirements are capital intensive and the students of the department need help to get these facilities so that they can get their licenses and practise the profession they studied in school.

These students spent 7 years for a 5 year course & it's about to become 8 if action is not taken soon enough by the University

This loss of accreditation implies that graduated students from the department of Radiography at the University of Lagos are ineligible to sit for their professional qualification exam which grants them the license to practise as Radiographers and apply for internships

Hi everyone, the newly graduated set of Radiography from University of Lagos needs your help. After their final exams in August 2024, the program was de-accredited by the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN) for reasons stated in this thread.
