Jean-Marie Delbos was sexually abused as a boy at Notre-Dame de Bétharram, a Catholic school in southwest France. He lost his faith and had not been to Mass in 60 years.
Today he met Pope Leo XIV at Lourdes. “He took me in both arms,” Delbos said. “I never imagined it was the pope holding me.”
“Even me, a notorious unbeliever,” he added. “This man made me make the sign of the cross.”
@jdflynn@PappaSciarappa He’s been in recovery for several years and it seems like his podcast in the last year or two has started moving into areas of spirituality and trying to understand religion. He’s kind of an underdog that people like to cheer for because he’s very open and honest about his life.
UPDATE: St. Joseph Church in East Bristol now has a fund set up to help with repairs after Monday night's storms. If you want to help, please visit https://t.co/Ev4BR8afK7.
A recent statement by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez illuminates the Marxist ideology which continues to take hold of American politicians. Here are my thoughts.
If you know and live your identity, purpose, and destiny, you will be blessed! We are beloved children of God. We are here to know, love and serve Jesus, to become saints. God’s desired destiny for us is heaven. Imagine if every person knew and lived these simple truths.
The Catholic Church is the only institution I would live for and die for. The Catholic Church was founded by Jesus Christ as His Body and Bride, commissioned to preach the Gospel and lead humanity to salvation.
Charlie Kirk’s wife is a devout Catholic and takes the children to daily Mass.
Charlie had started to attend Mass with her over the past few months.
Pray for his soul. Pray for his family, and pray that the Lord heal our brokenness. 🙏
One of Charlie Kirk's last videos was to honour the Blessed Virgin Mary and to tell Protestants and Evangelicals to honour her more
He called her the solution to 'toxic feminism'
Alright @Amtrak when are we getting chapel cars on our trains?
I don't care about high-speed rail, I just want to go to Mass on a train and sing the Kyrie as the saguaros go by out the window. Then have after-Mass coffee hour in the cafe car.
Fr. @PearsonJMJ showed me a new series Madison is doing for Eucharistic Revival, and it looks pretty good.

@PapistMelli Mistake is when people mix these together and they believe any introspection of their emotions is automatically "pride". It's repression. We must speak with God about our thoughts/emotions. We discover God loves us in that vulnerability and we will love our neighbor as a result.
@PapistMelli You've highlighted one of the biggest spiritual mistakes. The confusion between thinking about yourself, emotions, desires, ambitions etc. in the context of prayer and friendship with God vs. thinking about yourself in a disordered way.
