My new article just published by @IRPPJournal: "Policy dismantling by capacity manipulation in a context of democratic backsliding: The bureaucracy in disarray in Bolsonaro’s Brazil". Long title, 3+ years of research in there https://t.co/DchQbkuLy5
I am thankful to my OU colleagues, Professors, especially Dr. Aimee Franklin, for helping us prepare for this conference and to our panel discussants and audience members for constructive feedback, which we will use to improve our paper before submitting it for publication.

It was a great honor and incredibly uplifting to present our research study,on our home countries' political and administrative affairs, to a prestigious group of highly regarded Political Scientists and fellow Ph.D. students from various American and international universities.
As a budgeting researcher, I have been incredibly inspired by Dr. Kurt Thurmaier’s works on Participatory Budgeting and Citizen Participation in budgeting processes in Kenya and in the United States of America. I am so happy I was able to meet and talk to him at MPSA 2023.🙏
Thank you @bdjones_jones for an insightful and thought-provoking presentation: Of Two Minds.
His research sheds light on the complex history of political development in the American South in the 19th and 20th centuries!
And, thanks to our attendees for the great Q&A afterwards.
