THIS CREATURE THREW HER ELDERLY DOG IN A LAKE & DROWNED HER
๐จ CONVICTED | Michelle Moran, 63, from #bebington, #wirral, Merseyside - drowned her elderly dog in a lake.
On September 29, 2025, Moran threw her 16-year-old Jack Russell, Gypsy, into a boating lake off Gautby Road in #birkenhead and callously walked away, leaving her to drown. The dog's body was recovered from the lake by a member of the public a day later and an appeal was posted to Facebook.
In a statement presented to the court, RSPCA Inspector Anthony Joynes, who investigated for the animal charity, said: "[Moran] said she'd seen on social media the following day that Gypsy had been found dead in the lake and she knew she 'shouldn't have done it'."
Moran said she was sorry for her actions, telling the inspector: "All I remember is throwing her in and walking away."
She claimed Gypsy was suffering from tumours and deteriorating eyesight, although neither condition had been confirmed by a veterinary professional.
Inspector Joynes visited the scene and found that the lake was surrounded by a concrete wall which would have made it extremely difficult for a small dog, particularly one that was elderly, weak or unwell, to climb out of the water.
A veterinary examination revealed Gypsy weighed just 3.7kg. She was also found to have blood around her mouth and nose.
The court heard Moran had cited financial difficulties as the reason she did not pursue euthanasia through a veterinary practice.
Following the sentencing, Inspector Joynes described the incident as "an extremely callous act".
"She had a responsibility to seek veterinary care if she believed Gypsy was seriously unwell," he said. "To take her to a lake and throw her in beggars belief. Poor Gypsy would have suffered a horrendous death."
Sentencing | 17 weeks' imprisonment, suspended for 18 months; curfew; 25 days of 'rehabilitation'. Lifetime ban.

ELLA DESPERATELY NEED A FOSTER OR FOREVER!
SHE'S MAKING ALL HER FEET BLEED FROM STRESSING SO MUCH IN KENNELS ๐๐
Ella is a retired Hampshire Police Dog who was born December 2020. She had to be retired as she lost her bark! Ella is microchipped and spayed and we are told fully vaccinated. Sadly needs a new home as she is not very children tolerant and Hampshire Police are not interested in taking her back as they say an agreement was signed so not their problem anymore!
Ella is selective with other dogs but has actually improved since being in her new owner since May this year. A no to cats. Fine with adults, including delivery drivers, but has had operational bites during her working time as you would expect. Fine being left with no destruction but she does have an outside kennel. She comes indoors at night and sleeps in a crate.
As you would also expect. Ella is good on lead, recall and has extensive commands, and of course is very toy driven! No issues over food or toys and fine with vets.
Ella was taken into foster with a view to adopt however, sadly her foster mum is unable to commit to her long term due to health issues and feels she needs a โstrongerโ home. She now lives happily in the house with another dog, so no problems there, and likes a crate for her safe space. Needs further work with not reacting to other dogs when out and about on lead.
Anyone who has Mali experience and wants a fun girl with loads going for her, Ella is definitely for you!
Sharing is caring.

๐จ CONVICTED | Jawad Nadeem, 21, from #slough, Berkshire: left one 'security' dog in the boot of a car on the hottest day of the year and kept another in a tiny cage in direct sunlight.
Nadeem pleaded guilty to causing unnecessary suffering and failing to meet the duty of care under the Animal Welfare Act 2006.
The offence took place on Wordsworth Road in Slough on June 19, 2025.
Police were called at 12.50pm and found a German Shepherd locked inside the boot of a car.
Nadeem, the registered owner of the vehicle, admitted to police that he had left the dog in the boot for at least three hours.
The unnamed dog was found distressed, dehydrated, and overheating and was taken to a veterinary clinic for emergency treatment.
Vets also discovered he had an untreated degenerative condition in his rear leg that required surgery.
The following day, neighbours reported that Nadeem had placed another German Shepherd in a wire crate in direct sunlight in a rear garden.
By the time police and council officers arrived, both Nadeem and the dog had left the property.
He was later traced to Royal Holloway, University of London, where he was arrested.
During police questioning, Nadeem gave a no-comment interview and refused to say where he had left the second dog.
Ian Blake who led the investigation for Slough Borough Council said: "It was also believed that there were more than just these two dogs involved in this as Jawad Nadeem appeared to be operating as a so-called Security Dog Handler regularly transporting dogs in this activity."
Following a council prosecution, Nadeem initially pleaded not guilty but later changed his plea to guilty.
During sentencing, Nadeem claimed he needed a dog for work purposes.
The only dog located, the German Shepherd found in the car, made a full recovery, received necessary surgery, and has since been rehomed as a family pet.
Sentencing | 200 hours of unpaid work; ordered to pay prosecution costs of ยฃ5,102 and a ยฃ114 victim surcharge. He is banned from owning, keeping, or being involved with animals for 10 years.

9 yr old female Vizsla. Spayed and fully health checked
Dog friendly. Typical Vizsla in personality and although 9 yrs old can behave as a much younger dog
Good with children 10 yrs and over
Not cat tested
Amber arrived with us at Arundawn together with her daughter Ruby after being dumped / abandoned in the North of England. She had a large protruding and uncomfortable mass which turned out to be a huge hernia. She is now spayed and the hernia repaired and is looking great.
After further assessment and deliberation we feel that it is not necessarily in the best interests of either dog to remain together.
Amber tells her now 7 yr old 'pup' off regularly and we feel that it may be beneficial for them to find homes independently of each other - although we would also consider homing them together in the right home.
Could you offer Amber a home? Apply!

Very urgent, please retweet to help 2 dogs stay together, owner terminally ill #YORKSHIRE#UK 10 May 2026
APPEAL FOR FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME
This is a VERY urgent, and heartbreaking appeal to reunite 2 heartbroken girls ๐๐จ
Meet Staffy cross WILLOW ๐ค๐พโฆ she came into kennels this week and is truly one of the most heartbreaking intakes we have had โฆ not because sheโs been neglected - anything but ๐ค Willow is so loved, and has been so well cared for by her mum (who rescued her herself), but due to a terminal diagnosis, she contacted us desperate for help with Willow as she may be moving into a hospice soon ๐
It was heartbreaking for her mum to leave her at kennels - poor Willow knew what was happening too and is understandably now beside herself and so so anxious ๐๐ค
Hereโs the even more upsetting situation where we need to appeal for your helpโฆ we only had room to take Willow, and her mum has another dog Roxy โฆ but as we have dogs booked to come in, we couldnโt take her too - their mum thought they were not overly bonded, so could be seperated, but given how anxious Willow is, and knowing how depressed Roxy is now without her, we know that we urgently need to reunite these poor girls ASAP ๐จ๐
A HUGE ask, but if anyone out there can offer a foster/home to help these heartbroken girls this really would mean the world not only to Willow and Roxy, but also to their mum who needs to know that both her girls are safe, happy and cared for and not have to worry about them at such a difficult time ๐ค๐๐ค
PLEASE, please get in touch if you can offer these poor girls a foster home so that they can be together (our kennels are much too small to fit both girls in together!!) ๐จ๐จ๐จ - Helping Yorkshire Poundies Rescue, registered British Charity

@UnitedStandMUFC If Rashford isnโt going to Barcelona any longer, perhaps Aston Villa may come back to sign him, so perhaps Rash & some cash for Rogers? Perhaps Leao a better left wing option?
