Dear Peter Obi, At first you said you will not back a subsidy return and now you back it.
It’s essential for Nigerian to know where you stand as regards this matter
I will like see a policy paper on subsidy by the NDC.
A position paper is needed
“I will be in charge.”
You knew your position on fuel subsidy was right, but you compromised because your VP candidate thought otherwise.
Now you want us to believe you’ll be in charge? Okay.
“If I win, I’ll bring back fuel subsidy and I’ll remove the corruption. From day one I talked about subsidy, I talked about the corruption, the corruption is the problem is the subsidy so If I win, I’ll bring back fuel subsidy and I’ll remove the corruption”

@75Enuji@NanaAfiaSerwa12@tobyasky@grok Have you not read where he said that he still has the retirement letter he wrote after the World Cup? He was ready to retire but the Portuguese FA begged him to stay.
The least you can do is to be objective.
For the lazy people who don't want to read, here is the summary
- 🇵🇹 Ronaldo planned to retire after the 2026 World Cup but agreed to continue.
- He backed Jorge Jesus as Portugal’s coach.
- Jesus told Ronaldo he was key to his plans and agreed on his playing-time schedule.
- 🇳🇴 Before the Norway game, Jesus told Ronaldo he’d play 30 minutes.
- Ronaldo warmed up but never came on.
- 🔥 Ronaldo: “The coach had broken his word to me.”
@NanaAfiaSerwa12@tobyasky@grok The coach could have handled the whole situation better. You can't separate Ronaldo from Portugal's history, so he's more than just any player.
And as for walking out on everybody, he has already apologised.
@UtdPainOpe@tobyasky@grok No, that he would play about 30mins in that match. He even asked him to warm up and ended up not playing him.
He still wanted to stay with the team, but the coach's press conference ruined everything.
New York City, wetin dey sup? It was a joy to commemorate 34 years of the Nigerian Day Parade alongside the many Nigerian New Yorkers who fill our city with life.
From the entrepreneurs whose businesses strengthen our neighborhoods, to the sounds of Afrobeats pouring out of graduation parties in Southeast Queens, and the aroma of Agege bread calling out to passersby in Brooklyn — the impact of Nigerian New Yorkers is felt across the five boroughs.
Our city is richer in culture, stronger in community, and more vibrant because of your contributions.
Nigeria has become less risky for investment in Africa, moving up four places in Bloomberg’s ranking.
That can make it easier for Nigerian businesses to raise money, expand factories, build infrastructure and hire more people.
Ladies and gentlemen, there’s hope.
“I’m tired of telling single people to stop having sex and married people to have sex.” 😭
How did we even get here? 😂
One group is doing what they shouldn’t, another group is struggling to do what they should.
Relationships really need wisdom.
I want to say a big thank you to the organizers of The Platform Nigeria's Gen Z town hall yesterday. I also thank the young lagosians who sacrificed their public holiday to be there and the candidates who came and showed respect to our young Lagosians, the lifeblood of this city.
As I told the young people in the hall: you are the biggest part of Lagos today. You are Lagos and Lagos is you.
Every society is built on a social contract that should be sacred. The people work, contribute to society, pay taxes and are law-abiding, and government, on its part acts for the good of everyone. The question is: if a government does not keep its side of the bargain, what are you willing to do about it?
Positive change is possible, but it starts with you. As you evaluate alternatives, you should interrogate ideas and consider the capacity and courage of candidates to deliver. Examine track records. What have they done before? At what scale? Who can vouch for them?
Then come out for what you believe in.
Next week, we will release details of our manifesto: specifics that we commit to deliver, how we will deliver it, and a scorecard to hold us accountable.
Sign up at https://t.co/8bDML4HPOs to see it, and to volunteer and canvass. If every one of you brings five people, we will change Lagos.
As we travel across the state, our message is simple: it's time for a new way for Lagos.
Ó ti yá; ọ̀nà tuntun yá.

How can we get @theplatformng to host a similar town hall in Oyo State for the gubernatorial candidates?
They’re currently hosting one in Lagos, and I think Oyo deserves the same opportunity for voters to hear directly from the candidates and compare their plans for the state.
“Anybody who refuse, who also wants to stand in our way from getting 2.5 million votes for President Tinubu….AK-47 f!re!”
