We are deeply honored that His Royal Highness Sir Jude Mike Mudoma, the Umukuuka of Bugisu and Cultural Leader of the Bamasaaba through Inzu Ya Masaba, has blessed and endorsed our National Campaign: Expose the Corrupt in Local Government.

Today, we are in Bugisu to expose corruption in local government and strengthen accountability in public service. Following a successful Day One campaign in Mbale District, our determination is even stronger. We are committed to cleaning up Bugisu and ensuring that public resources benefit the people they are meant to serve.

The directive by H.E. President @KagutaMuseveni to eliminate corruption, together with the clear instructions from my Chairman, General @mkainerugaba, to stamp out corruption in local government, will bear fruit.

Our campaign is restoring accountability, protecting public resources, and ensuring that every shilling allocated to serve Ugandans reaches its intended beneficiaries. We remain steadfast in this mission until corruption is defeated and service delivery is transformed across the country.

Next stop: Bulambuli District.

Corruption must end. Accountability must prevail.

Kudos to Hon. Balaam Barugahara for his bold on-ground inspections in Mbale District schools! Exposing ghost pupils, illegal charges, and irregularities in Naiku Primary and Nabumali SSS shows real commitment to fighting corruption and improving service delivery in education.

We urge you to extend these inspections to more government schools across the country, including in Luwero District. We also call on other Ministers to leave their offices and get on the ground to inspect key sectors like electricity supply and revenue collection. THE WEAPONIZATION OF EXTRADITION TREATIES BY DOMINANT POWERS AGAINST THE WEAKER STATES, AND THE PERPETUATION OF NEO-COLONIAL LEGACY:

Uganda has agreed to extradite its National, a one, MICHAEL KATUNGI, to U.S to be tried for crimes he allegedly committed there. Can U.S extradite its National to Uganda to be tried? The answer is NEVER! That's why it is not a party to the ICC protocol; because they can not allow their citizens to be tried by FOREIGN JURISDICTIONS. And, indeed, in CIVIL-LAW Countries, like France, Germany, Russia, Japan..., there are strict CONSTITUTIONAL/Statutory PROHIBITIONS against handing their NATIONALS over to foreign Countries to be tried.

Because, in essence, it is an abuse of the Principle of the SOVEREIGNTY OF STATES and the Principle of SOCIAL CONTRACT, ie, The SOVEREIGN STATE'S DUTY TO PROTECT ITS NATIONALS. More so, when such EXTRADITION TREATY LACKS THE POWER OF RECIPROCITY, ie, POWER ASYMMETRY, like we see in this case.

Therefore, Uganda must evoke what's known as the ACTIVE PERSONALITY PRINCIPLE where we ASSERT our own CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM against our Citizens for crimes they could have committed abroad. Therefore, Uganda must reject the EXTRADITION of KATUNGI to U.S, and instead, subject him to our own Criminal Trial, here. By so doing, we serve both JUSTICE AND OUR SOVEREIGNTY.
Even in the CA, some of us were against these one-way-traffic EXTRADITION TREATIES. But then, like now, our economic dependency and the never ending conditional aid and leverage nonsense, always determine the outcome!

It is therefore a shame, to extradite our National to U.S when U.S CAN NEVER EXTRADITE AN AMERICAN TO UGANDA. Doing so is a clear sign of the modern MASTER-SLAVE NEO-COLONIAL RELATIONS; where historical subjugation evolved into these, even, not so subtle systems of DOMINANATION.
